Where dreams come to come true.
And a bit bored. But possibilities are endless. Do I watch something? Catch up on some reading? Dare I clean a bit? Do I actually, and honest to god, play video games!?!?!?! Like with Netflix on demand, the options may outweigh the end result of accomplishing something.

What I should do, is take a tip from a friend I work with on what he did on a day off a couple weeks back: "I woke up at noon, went to bed at two, and played Mass Effect the entire time."

Obviously, that would be replaced with Tales of Vesperia, but imagine...imagine how much progress I could make if I hunkered down for like...all day and just played it. It would certainly make sense to have made progress on a game I'm currently playing when I pick up The Last Remnant next week.

The city has been very good at plowing my city this time, but I am not going out in this mess with my car. I am snowed in too. I've been playing Mass Effect, watching some of The Office on Netflix and going online to find out what's up with the rest of the world.

Unfortunately for me, it looks like the city might be doing such a good job clearing the roads that I wont have an excuse to not go to work on Sunday night. My hopes for a guilt-free three-day weekend are being ruined.

Let me know how the Last Remnant is. I was looking at it in WalMart's bargain bin last night. Still wasn't sure if it was worth $15...

Winter Olympics are here in Vancouver in a couple weeks and it is bright and sunny. Haven't seen snow in a couple months, and the mountain I was going to go snowboarding on last month was closed to the public early due to a lack of snow. PANIC! Olympics are gonna be cancelled! :o :PH43R:

Naw they are shipping in snow for it  From other countries

Now that won't stop the anti Olympic protesters though. Anyone know what their beef is? I just caught a news commercial but didn't see the whole story.

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
We got about 3 feet here.

Strife, Last Remnant is ok, but you have to play it a very specific way to enjoy it. Don't play it without the strat from 360achievements.org.

As far as what we're doing, I've mostly been playing Borderlands online with my man P. It's been pretty good fun.

It seems the East Coast got the brunt of it. I'd feel sorrier, but I think there are potential 40 degree days next week? Yeah, you've got more snow, but it's going to melt muchh faster than the 25 degree days we're sitting at for the next week. That shit ain't goin' nowhere!

Vancouver can have it.

By the way, who's idea was it to have the Winter Olympics in the Pacific Northwest? Does it ever REALLY snow there?
