 Perhaps the developers didn't give Altair an accent as a way of showing more of a connection between himself and his ancestors. Who knows..?
Which begs the question. Why give Ezio an accent?
I have not yet played the second game, so I don't know. So much for my theory I suppose.

I have not either. I just know that Ezio has an accent

My theory is bad casting. He was the worst acted character in the game

About how long did Atelier Rorona take to beat kknd?

It says 20 hours, but I definitely spend more than that... if you include time that I lost by reloading old save files, I'd say 30 hours (I spend a good 15 hours on this game yesterday and before yesterday so it couldn't be 20h :P)

I didn't spend much time in the dungeon after year 1, so that slashed off lot of gametime too.

I gave the final boss of FF: 4 Heroes of Light another shot. And then another after that. Lost both. Seriously, nothing feels like a bigger "fuck you" from developers than impossible final bosses. It cheapens the entire experience, leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth and makes you feel like you wasted a ton of time and money.

That's one thing I hate about post-SNES era Final Fantasy games, FF8,9 and 10's final boss are such pain the in ass. (I'm talking about the final summon in FFX) I never finished FF9 for that reason.

Yup, completely agree. What's funny is that FFVI has one of the most laughably easy final bosses ever. Then we transition into the Sony era. FFVIII's is a hot mess. FFIX's is impossible unless you learned status prevention skills. FFX caused me a ton of trouble my first time playing, but none my second. And amsuingly enough, the PSOne version of FFIV effed up the balancing so badly that even its final boss is impossible.

This one is the worst, though, because unless you've done things the "right" way, there's no really getting out of it without a massive amount of work. You have to have the right jobs and keep your levels as low as possible. Enemies scale with you. Problem is, there's hardly any armor in the game. So unless you've heavily upgraded your early armor, you get slaughtered by the final boss. Upgrading requires lots of battling for gems. Meaning even more leveling. Thus, further compounding the problem. It's an absolutely idiotic system that's only compounded by the limited focus jobs have. If you're a white mage, you've got no buffs/debuffs. If you're a sage for that stuff, you can't heal worth a crap. So you have to have the "right" set up with the right skills. Which takes, you guessed it, more gems.

Where dreams come to come true.
Ah, and Tales of Vesperia is finished. The final boss wasn't too difficult, helped very much by the Resurrect skill and his ridiculously broken 11,000 HP dealing ultra attack. He pulled this move with only 3300 HP left, and I was like, "If you kill everyone right now, I am going to be so pissed." But thankfully...just enough to survive.

All in all, this game was very good. I'd say the best Tales game I've come across. The story wasn't a complete wreck for the final ten hours like Symphonia was. I'm glad I'm finished with it. Not glad I only had 711 grade. The heck. I need 3000 for 10x EXP. That's rough.

Guess that brings me to:

PlayStation 3

Atelier Rorona

Wii

New Super Mario Bros.

Xbox 360

Tales of Vesperia

Killin' it.

Seriously? I thought the bosses in all 3 of those games were pretty cake by the end. Of course, I usually level boosted like nuts in VIII and X, but even on the playthroughs that I didn't they were still pretty easy. And I beat the final boss of FF IX with my party in the mid-50s, which I felt was severely underleveled, and I still had a fairly easy time.

I dunno, the GF in FF8 was able to wipe out my whole party in 1 hit and it took me an hour and a half and most of my healing items to reach the final form (I was only able to kick her butt on my second playthrough but I had mad junctions by then)
FFX's final boss second form was able to kill my whole party in 2 hits and my healer can't even heal enough to cover the damage, the only way I beat him is to use the overdrives of my strongest aeons
I haven't try that many times in FFIX but that boss after Kuja kicks my butt!
