I Wanted to try and 100% DQ9, but the more quests I do, the more they stay the same. The camel that broke the straw's back was giving me a quest based on luck. Making me critical hit a enemy without using an ability is a ridiculous waste of my time. I will finish the story and be done with it.
Don't try to do ones like that. Just accept and let them come naturally in battle.

They won't come naturally because I have to enrage the enemies first using whistle.

FINALLY! I finally 100%ed Prof. Layton 2. That SUCKED. I think I spent more time on the last garbage pushing one, the last knight's tour and the last bloody hop the marble one (I don't even want to think about how many hundreds, probably thousands of times I did this one alone) than the whole rest of the game combined. But, I did it. All the regular, bonus and DLC puzzles complete. I can finally move on to the third game. And, because those damned puzzles are finally done, I can finally be happy about the series again. I did not enjoy the 2nd game's puzzle selection nearly as much, no sirree.

Finish Hexyz Force, a pretty decent RPG, the anime cutscenes are cool. The battle animation makes the battle a bit slow, thank god you can press R button to fast forward the animations. With the R button, you can literally fast forward through everything, something that every game should have IMO.

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
Aight. Finished up Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising..... Storywise, it ended up sucking because they put so much effort into the opening and then the ending was just a cornball speech from the marine ground forces commander as our helos rolled out from the imaginary island of Skira.

Gamewise, it incorporated alotta concepts I've been begging for in console shooters. The AI sucked, but the gameplay itself minus the mechanical fumbles and the poor hit detection was dope.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I have no plans to 100% it. Playing this game on Hardcore would not be fun given the game's flaws. Plus, the other 2 cheevos I missed require online play. That is basically non existent. Don't really care, tho. I enjoyed the game and now it's on to the next.

I've finished playing LocoRoco. The game is cute as all heck, but by the end, the joyous feeling I had at the start of the game turned into rage. This is one game that I am not going to ever try to 100%. Anybody who would spend more time with this game than is required to go through all of the levels once is a masochist.

The mechanics of this game are simple, but the challenges to collect everything are difficult. For a game that oozes fun and cheer, it does wear out its welcome quickly, as there is nothing new in the game from start to finish. By the time I reached the last world, I was rushing through the game, hoping for it to end soon. Still, throughout the game, I did everything that I could in each level to the best of my ability, because I knew that there would be no desire to replay this game for a long time. LocoRoco 2 will remain on the shelf for a great while longer, having been shifted to the bottom of my mental to-do list.

LocoRoco isn't terrible. The game is a colorful and fun in small chunks. I give it a C+

I finished Halo Reach on Legendary a week ago. There were a few obnoxiously hard missions (Long Night of Solace, Nightfall, Oni Sword Base), but it wasn't nearly as hard as I was told. That's the first Halo game I beat on Legendary.

I feel like we should have a "Games Almost Completed But I Couldn't Take Anymore in 2010" thread. I've had waaay too many games this year I've quit in the final dungeon, on a final boss, 75%+ through the game when I just had enough, but I can't claim them in this thread. :(

Harder. Less quest cheevos, more time consuming annoying ones. :(

Yeah, you might as well wait. I kind of regret buying it now because of the amount of bugs they have to get worked out and the overall crapiness of it all.

What was your ending playtime? I am about 35 hours into the game now and I still haven't been to the strip.
