There were quite a few stars that had me dying constantly, most all were comet stars. Some of these were just insane and I got super pissed off as a result. Honestly, I don't know how a kid is supposed to be able to play some parts of this game. I have been playing Mario games for two decades and still just barely scraped by a couple of challenges. |

Update! I only have one star left to go, then I will fight Bowser again to get the special ending. This last star seems like it will be a major pain, but if I can manage to reach each checkpoint, then I should be able to grind through it with enough lives. After that, I am not at all interested in doing the green star replay. |

how did you find the overall difficulty for the 120 stars though? I thought it wasn't as hard as the first one |

I thought that this game was much more difficult than the first Mario Galaxy. Some of the worlds were very easy, but there were others that made me want to snap the Wiimote in half. I never did the Luigi stars in the first game though, so maybe that would be on the same level, I don't know. |

Finished Nostalgia, it was a decent RPG, it doesn't bring anything new though and the game is not very long (my game clocked at exactly 19:54... without doing 80% of the side quest, which involves in finding random craps inside already explored dungeons... not interested) DS Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth Atelier Annie: Alchemist of Sera Island Draglade Dragon Ball: Origins Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles Legacy of Ys: books 1 & 2 Magical Starsign New Super Mario Bros. I finished playing De Blob today. This was a good fun game to relax with. I give it a B. |

This was one of the absolute best role playing experiences I've ever had, up there with Persona 3. The only trouble is that the difficulty was so bizarrely unbalanced. Some random fights took me upwards of 5+ tries to beat, but I ROFLstomped the final boss with no questions asked. That, combined with the fact that I don't care for this type of battle system, hurt the gameplay aspects of the game. But the roleplaying sections? SPOT freaking ON. Characters and stories were interesting, dialogue was tight and my choices made an actual impact in the world. And characters were dynamic. They'd remember exactly what I'd done to them. And a lot of this comes down to one brilliant move: They took out the morality compass. THANK GOD. What has taken so long? By removing that, we were able to have actual moral quandries rather than "Do you want to be a good guy or bad guy?" As a game, it needs a lot of tweaking and balancing, but as an experience, it's almost unparalleled. |

Damn nate, nice list. The whole reason I stayed away from DA:O was because of the battle system. It looked boring and am not big on the hack 'n slash (what it seems like). Really, Oblivion's wasn't much better to me but I really enjoyed the many other aspects of the game so it's why I always play it here and there. You down to race in Wipeout sometime? I only have it until sometime mid-month, damn Playstation Plus. What a waste of money. |

It IS the only game of mine that goes online. But... I haven't played it in months, so I'll probably get dead last. :( |

I finished Zelda (NES) and it was harder than I remember it being as a kid. Or, maybe I've just gone a bit soft. |

FINALLY! I finally 100%ed Prof. Layton 2. That SUCKED. I think I spent more time on the last garbage pushing one, the last knight's tour and the last bloody hop the marble one (I don't even want to think about how many hundreds, probably thousands of times I did this one alone) than the whole rest of the game combined. But, I did it. All the regular, bonus and DLC puzzles complete. I can finally move on to the third game. And, because those damned puzzles are finally done, I can finally be happy about the series again. I did not enjoy the 2nd game's puzzle selection nearly as much, no sirree. |

No, not right now. By the time I finished the game, I was getting frustrated with having to earn enough rupees every time more potion was needed to heal. Damn Wizzrobes! |

I Wanted to try and 100% DQ9, but the more quests I do, the more they stay the same. The camel that broke the straw's back was giving me a quest based on luck. Making me critical hit a enemy without using an ability is a ridiculous waste of my time. I will finish the story and be done with it. |
