I hated it. GLS loves it. I could never get behind the whole "breaking" the game to play it aspect. Plus, the story SUUUUCKS and don't let anyone tell you differently. Bad presentation doesn't make it deep. ;)

kknd- Let's compare books read lists and then we'll see who spends less time outside! :lightsabre:

I also read 2-3 game instruction books, I won't bother to name it here, since you won't beat me anyways

I will take your word for it. If it were $10 I might have tried it, but at $15 I don't feel like wasting that extra $5.

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
Just finished up Bioshock last night. Pretty dang good. I enjoyed it up until I had to put on that stupid Big Daddy costume which made it hard to see.

The most hilarious part for me was that the whole time I was playing it, I was thinking, THIS is what metal gear should have become conceptually.   It had all the exploration, discovery and leveling that I loved from the original.

What did you hate about it again?

The flow of the game. Quick, get to this area! Blocked. Go do this arbitrary task elsewhere. Okay, onward! Blocked. Go collect the follow items. Okay, onward! Blocked. Are you kidding me? You couldn't have integrated this nonsense any better into the main game?

Fetch quests suck in RPGs. They're pretty inexcuseable in an FPS, as far as I'm concerned.

Worst part of the game so they in their infinite wisdom decided to take that idea and use it for the sequel.

Beat RDR finally. At 99.5% just need 1 outfit for 100% game completion. To bad that doesn't mean 1K though. Had 2 achievements already glitch on me. I liked the ending but man the last missions absolutely suck. I do not like following a stupid barking dog for 20 minutes doing nothing other than riding a horse.

Yep. I"m definitely avoiding Bioshock 2. And prolly any other bioshocks that drop. It had alotta features that I dug, but it's not something I really want to relive. One 30hr adventure in that vein was good enough for me.

Finished Secret of Monkey Island. I liked the 2nd half much more than the first. Melee Island was kinda crappy, but the latter part of the game was fun. The interface was lousy throughout, though.
