Man please. THis game didn't even come close to my FF13 time.

I actually somewhat enjoyed my 2nd playthru. The first playthru sucked. 2nd was ok. The game still sucks overall, but I managed to squeeze some enjoyment out of it. Now I'm just playing to get the "Level Each Character to 15" achievements. I have 4 left.... It takes WAY too long to reach that level for how much fighting you do in this game. And the game is programmed to ensure you are capped unless you spend stupid hours leveling like Rag did with FF12.

What you guys have seen me doing is not playing though. I've been doing other stuff while refreshing the servers to find people that can help me boost levels. Like tonite, I did laundry and packed my music equipment to play with my band this weekend all while logged on.

I just finished Red Faction Guerrilla. I will review this game, but I want to try out it's multiplayer first. Toi put it simply, it is flawed, difficult and fun. It is a good game with a forgettable story, but the first time you destroy a building and watch it crumble to the ground, you will no longer care if it even has a story

Geez you would have thought I mentioned something about the scantily clad ladies in the game to deserve such a defensive reply. Listen to you all "I wan't playing. The family and I were huddled around it for warmth because the temperature dipped into the low 90s. Then I used it to dry my laundry. Don't accuse me of playing that terrible game!! :damnyou!:

Now if we could only get him to focus on consoles with trophies or achievements Ragz or I could get some competition happenin.

Beat Legendary (after years of waiting for it to drop in price). Wasn't terrible. Could have been so much better with a few tweaks though. First off the graphics are terrible. I am not a graphicwhore but damn with a developer like IW or even Epic running the show it would have been awesome. There is scenes of griffons ripping people in half and werewolves carrying people away. If you are going to do scenes like that make them top notch. Unfortunately graphics is not Codemaster's strong suit and thier games show it since they all look similar.

The graphics aside the real issue with the game is well the game. The story is serviceable (until the end when it takes a very wrong turn and never looks back, what else is new?). The guns handle well enough. And the enemies all suck. Other than a few bosses you are fighting swarms of firedrakes, fairies, werewolves and dudes with guns. The problem with the enemies who don't have guns is they respawn instantly. If you take out a werewolf you best be prepared for the next one who is right on his tail. To make matters worse you have to decapitate the werewolves otherwise they will get back up. So you down it, get out your trusty axe (because crowbars are for losers) and go to chop off it's head. Ha ha says the game, it's head is buried in the floor or wall. Far out of your reach.

Now couple this frustration with the "animus" system. Animus is mana to put it simply (really spellchecker you don't agree with mana?). You can use animus to heal yourself (no healthpacks or regenerating health while you fight through swarms of respawning werewolves). No when you kill a supernatural critter you can absorb animus which you can either store or if you are full will heal you. You can use the stored stuff for healing, an attack or to fill machines which converts the supernatural baddies to fight for you for a whole second. And you can't hold very much at all. A full tank will let you fire off 2 spells or heal yourself about 3/4. And the whole absorbtion thing is not a quick process. It takes 3 werewolves to fill a tank. Absorbing takes a few seconds. And the enemies don't care that you are busy.

It isn't very often you will hear me say it but this game needs to be remade. The story left little hope for a sequel. And that is a shame

Worse. You can stop any soldier in COD with a few bullets. Not a few clips.
