Everything, everything, EVERYTHING!

So I downloaded FFVII on the PSN awhile back and was playing it on my PSP, but now that I have a PS3 I decided to start up on that. Has anyone tried playing a PS1 game on a flatscreen, 32 inch or larger, LCD TV? Took about 10 minutes for my eyes to stop trying to remove themselves from my skull. That was with the PS3 smoothing on, hate to see it without. After awhile my eyes adjusted and I was fine, but going from HD games to well, not is a huge jump. And I tell you, I love this game, but having to play Midgar over and over again is getting on my nerves. |

Yep. I've played a lot of older games on my TV over the years; primitive graphics don't bother me though. |

I haven't tried to play any PSN stuff, but all of my Virtual Console stuff from NES to N64 looks great. |

Yes these HD tvs make every minor graphical error look 1000x worse. Man Mass Effect looked horrible in HD. When did you move up from your 19 inch POS tv? Edited by squid5580, Jan 15 2010, 01:32 PM.

*shrugs* Most of my PSone games look better on my HD TV with smoothing on than they did on the PSone/2 with a tube TV. It did look pretty ugly on the PS2 on the HD TV through component cables, though. On the PS3 through HDMI, it looks a lot...well...smoother really |
