I kinda want to wait a while to see if Bioware will make a GOTY edition with all these expansions and DLC included. I'd rather pay $60 for a complete game then $100+ because they decided to release the game in bits and pieces.
The expansion is coming out on a disc. It might be plausible for the PS3 but I seriously doubt that the 360 could handle it.

Oh and my bad they did post updates in the thread I spoke of. They told us stuff like "ya we are listening to our fans and will be lowering the price from 5 bucks since it is only an hour long" and "well the PS3 version won't be ready by X-Mas but we don't care we'll try to get it out on the other platforms first." Funny but the holiday season is long past and they are still advertising the price on thier site as 5 bucks.

Anyways take a glimpse into 1 possible future

Everything, everything, EVERYTHING!
The question is, can you be content with the content that is already on the DA:O disc? You don't have to buy the expansion.

I can't if I know it is coming. I sat here and stared at a shiny DA:O tin and dvd for the past month because they announced RTO was comin by X-Mas. Once that date passed by I said eff it and started playing. I'll either be renting the expansion or pickin it out of a bargain bin though. No way I am gonna pay 40 bucks when Bethesda gave me practically the same thing for about $12 and called it Point Turn.

I hope that doesn't happen. That would suck. :(

What you mean that potentially waiting 4 years for the next episode would bother you? Or is it the fact that you could buy a piece of a game that will never be finished because the company went out of business or no one else bought it?

Yeah, that's what I don't like. I don't want DLC to become important parts that I need to complete the game.
