They explain how to attach 8 different types of things or do 12 kings of switches (all of which work EXACTLY the same), but basic things like: How do I change the background? How do I create vertical stages? etc are all missing. I can link everything up and set it on fire, but I hope you don't mind running through a plain stage in a straight line. I've tried a number of times to make levels and each time I just get fed up with the whole thing. And don't even get me started on how awful their templates are. God knows how so many people have cool, complex levels because I can't make heads or tails of this nonsense. :x |

Everything, everything, EVERYTHING!

Requires a lot of time and effort. Some people find it really fun and rewarding to spend weeks on a level, those people usually end up becoming game developers of some kind. As for the rest of us, LBPs level creator sucks ass. |

Yeah cause a cool story mode and about a gajillion user created levels (some of which are nothing short of phenomenal) is just lame. |

But when you really aren't a platformer fan to begin with, and the other draw that the game offers is way too complex to enjoy, it kinda ruins things. :salut: |

I would have been more motivated to play LBP if the controls were better. If there's one thing a platformer needs, it's responsive controls, and this game just doesn't have them. |

Yeah, creating levels in LBP is kinda complicated. It's takes a while to get. If you haven't given up on it yet, I can help you out if you need it. Just don't ask me about emitters, I still don't know how to properly get those to work the way I want them to. Btw, the switches are actually all very different and need to be used in different situations, and what do you mean by creating vertical level? |

Good I really thought it was me. I was afraid I had contracted crabclawitis from TSL. |
