Apparently E-40 dropped two new albums at the end of March. May or may not see what's up with them.

The new Jakob Dylan CD is better than the last, but I still don't like him nearly as much solo as a member of the Wallflowers.

So apparently The Get Up Kids just released a new EP. Huh. Okay. Guess I should go ahead and...download it. Should be about...$4 I would hope? Quite strange. Have to see how it is.

And...just went to iTunes to do that very thing and it says this is a "clean" version? I don't want a "clean" version of anything. I'm confused.

Get Up Kids EP is fine. Frankly, it doesn't sound like them much, but it might be had they kept making music the past six years. Meh.

I think the old How I Got Over's been scrapped. At this point there are FAR too many songs and guests announced to fit on an album. New version includes Joanna Newsom, Connor Oberst and M Ward, though. To make sure you really understand just how hipsterish Roots fans really are, I suppose.

I think The Roots album is just sampling a Joanna Newsom song (The Book of Right On), not having an actual guest-spot...?

Thew new album from The National is streaming on the NYTimes site. It's very The National. No one will be converted by it, but a new album from what I consider to be the best band working right now is more than welcomed. :finger:

The new LCD Soundsystem album is streaming at his site and at NPR. I'm not sure that I like the whole thing, but Dance Yrself Clean is AMAZING.

The new Broken Social Scene album is also streaming, and it seems okay. Not nearly as good as You Forget It In People, but definitely something I'll give another look.

Lastly, I'm really intrigued by what I've heard from Gongasufi. I might need to buy his album.

New Shugo Tokumaru is ♥♥♥ as is all of his stuff, you know.

But this one is back into the more whimsical aspects that L.S.T. that wasn't as prevalent in Exit. But it's got the strength in writing and understanding of Exit, so it's kind of a best of both words situation! On my second listen, but I'm a little concerned about the second half being a little fillerfied. We'll see as I get there the second time.

Lahahahaha!

Asian Kung-Fu Generation finally having a new album coming out in June. After about...three singles, I'd say it's time. It's looking to be a big step in another direction, going on the dance rock roots of "Love Song for the New Century" to the breezy horn filled "A Stray Puppy and the Beat of the Rain," which I like a lot more than "Love Song...". 8) I feel like I should hate on this song pretty hardcore, but I dig that horn line.

Can't wait to hear a higher quality version. Single out at the end of May, so I'd lean that the album is probably out come...mid-end of June. Can't wait. :yay:

Hayley Williams completely steals the show in this new BoB song. This guy tries WAAAAAAY too hard to sound like Andre 3000. It really kind of kills him for me.
