New Jakob Dylan in a couple weeks. New Reflection Eternal is finally supposed to be out at the end of April. I loved the first single, the second left me cold. And GLS should be excited to know the original lineup of Sunny Day Real Estate is back together and recording a new CD. |

Agreed. She's been gorgeous for years now, so you'd think she'd act like she knows it by now. Then again, if she were to start acting all slutty and pushing her boobs up for the camera and such, I don't think she'd be as sexy anymore. As for the man voice, I don't hear it, but that's your opinion. |

Where dreams come to come true.

I heard about SDRE, but I'll have to see. Judging on where Enigk has gone on his solo albums (and Fire Theft, which was Sunny Day minus Dan), I wonder about how "Sunny Day" it will be. But......I'll certainly be there, since I still enjoy Enigk's solo work a lot. Early contender for Album of the Year is Beach House's Teen Dream. Really nice stuff. Very surprised how good it is. :nods: I also picked up Broken Bells, but haven't listened to it yet. I'm still really unsure how I feel about the whole project. Really really. |

Ha, yes, I don't hear the man voice, but then again, I think Miley Cyrus has a gravely old man voice, and no one else seems to hear that, so whatever. |

Miley Cyrus has spunk to her voice, though. Zooey just sounds like a man doing his best Jewel impression. |

Is it weird I thought immediately of Waddle when I heard this new Japanese group called SuG? Only in Japan could a band this ridiculous get a record deal and have people like it. Oh shit. I forgot Hollywood Undead existed there for a second. :? |

It was definitely fun :D . I'd be all for hearing more from them. I think I fell more for the background synth action than anything. And I'm not feeling the Hollywood Undead comparison either. It's just a fun video, and that comic book art mess has been used by several artists, not just gimmicky acts like HU. I can recall seeing it a lot in "older" pop videos. |

Not sure how I feel about this Broken Bells cd. I love "The High Road," but the rest of it kind of feels like the further slip into irrelevancy The Shins began with Wincing the Night Away only without The Shins and with Danger Mouse. I'll have to give it a closer listen, but I'm not terribly impressed. Shame I never listen to my instinct on some things. I was definitely iffy on this one to begin with. |

It sounds like Gorillaz meets the Beatles. I'm still enjoying it, but the original awesomeness has worn off. :( |

I totally overlooked it at first, but Timber Timbre seems TOTALLY up my alley. Great haunting folksy stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Tfw8SqeFEE |
