Did you ever get This Addiction, GLS? Agony and Irony was so godawful dull, that I'm really hesitant to buy another Alkaline Trio CD unless it absolutely rocks.
No, I did not. Not even the age old "back to their roots" talk can get me interested in this one.

Yeah, I never buy that line. It gets thrown around so often and I don't know that I've ever seen it once come true.

I finally have an album to be excited for this year. Deftones! :finger:

That song's not doing a whole lot for me, but it did remind me I meant to get a Deftones CD one of these days.

I liked that song, boost. Not enough to buy the CD outright, but if it's on sale at Amazon, I'd pick it up.

That reminds me, it's March, so the new $5 albums should be up.

The new Gorillaz album is streaming on NPR. It seems OKAY, but nothing really jumped out at me my first time through.

Man, I forgot that was coming out next week, too. I really liked the first single a lot.

We've been playing that Joanna Newsom cd(s?) at work, and I'm not sure how I feel. At times I really like it, at others, I actually am kind of annoyed by it. So I dunno. And I'm not sure why I'm even mentioning it, but Peter Gabriel released some kind of cover album, relevant because it has "The Book of Love" on it, but he also covers Arcade Fire and Radiohead, which is weird as hell. :?

Still extremely slow. Nothing is capturing my ear that's really worth mentioning. And it's March. I'm ashamed.

This Broken Bells CD is awesome. I really think this could turn into something special. I've just had too many CDs in recent years that were good, but not exciting and never really lasted more than a week or two in rotation. I think this one could be one that sticks around. That's only initial impressions, though.

I also downloaded the new Angels and Airwaves CD (it was free). I listened once last night. I don't know if the song ever changed. And I couldn't even hum you that song. I do remember it sounding like a Cure ripoff at times, though.

Man, Zooey Deschanel is trying really, really hard to pretend like she's unaware of how attractive she is and look spontaneous. Also, she still has a man voice.
