Judging by my experience and our oppositeness, you'll probably initially love it and then over months grow to hate it.

I went ahead and downloaded LCD Soundsystem's This is Happening today. Hear good things. Love the cover. Not terribly interested in it though, but it's free, so I can't complain.

And I've still got $4 in Amazon MP3 credits, if I keep one for the alternate version of The National's "Terrible Love," which makes High Violet a better cd, where do I go with my other three MP3s? Really tough stuff bruff.

Is really hard getting through this Roots album. It's too chill. I would listen to this if I were smoking a cigar, enjoying some whiskey, and not doing anything for the four hours it takes to listen to this 40 minute record, but it's just boring. The title track is the only song that has been even close to interesting and I'm not even really a fan of it.

Also, I'm a big fan of the Illuminati conspiracy theories running through the comments.

Toby Keith- It's another Toby Keith CD. He's damned reliable for turning out solid CDs annually. It's never exciting or new, but it's always well done and high quality. Sometimes I wish he'd take a few years off to craft a masterpiece (especially since I only buy a CD of his every couple of years as is), but whatever.

What's he singing about nowadays? Honky Tonk Honeymoons?

Heartbreak, drifters, truckers, white trash- with the usual mix of ballad, tongue and cheek joke and rock. So... pretty much exactly what he's been singing about for 20 years.

Getting around to listening to this J. Cole mixtape, and dammit, I cannot wait for his album to come out. This mixtape is non-stop. I can count the amount of quality mixtapes I've heard on one finger, but this one is top notch.

I don't know, Lupe. You better bring it on Lasers, cause Cole may top ya.

You talking about the Friday Night Lights one? I liked it, but wasn't as floored as I had hoped considering the other stuff I've heard from him.

SWEET! Just found out that a new Ryan Adams and the Cardinals disc is coming. It caught me by surprise because they've gone their seperate ways, but apparently this is music that was recorded during Easy Tiger. And since that's my favorite Ryan Adams disc, that sounds pretty damned good. :yay:

The new Social Distortion tracks sounds exactly like every other SoCal punk track made by the over 40 punk rock bands. It's not bad, but it's kind of disappointing.

Oh yeah, this song is pretty hot. I wish someone would write a bumpin' track for Indianapolis.

Preferably if they're in the Illuminati. To make it better.

I decided to listen to another Wiz Khalifa song, and he so samples Chrono Trigger. Who is this guy?
