Just saw it. It is gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. The story was pretty good as well. It was a bit predictable, but good. I thoroughly enjoyed it

There's so much hype about this movie that I've got to see it. I also keep hearing how phenomenal the graphics (?) are, but the previews I've seen look pretty ugly.

you mean "Going Rogue on the Smurfs" the Wendy Testerburger story.

I'm gonna wait for it to show up on tv or dl rental or something. When you got people running around saying "it's going to change film forever" and it was really expensive and took a long time to make, yada yada. It's like expect to be disappointed.

Then you will miss the 3D experience, which is actually worth it.

YEah. It is. They gave us good glasses. They were plastic, not some flimsy cardboard

Oh God, do you have to watch it in 3D? 3D stuff gives me massive headaches.

Hm. I'm still undecided on this one. Perhaps when it goes to the $1 theater, but I don't go out to watch many movies.

Sooo... is that a yes or no on the 3D thing? That's kind of make or break for me. If I can see it without 3D I'll go check it out in theatres. If I can't, I'll have to wait for DVD where it won't be around.

Everything, everything, EVERYTHING!
Good movie, a little too long though. Coud have shaved 40 minutes off the movie and it still would have been good. My theatre didn't offer it in 3D. You can definitely see wy this movie costs so much, he WHOLE movie is special effects.

Ya I caught an interview with Sigourney Weaver on the Daily Show and the process they used sounds amazing. She really praised it (the FX process).
