My God squid, you are a little drama queen, aren't you? No one's saying no video games, just no ultra violent ones at 5 years old. No one's saying no sun, just don't stick her on a beach mid summer for 12 hours with no sun block on. I originally was going to hold my tongue but your arguments at this point are just getting silly.
No that is the ridiculousness of the entire arguement. Parents need to excersise judgement and moderation when it comes to thier kids and video games. They need to know exactly what thier kids are playing and base thier judgements according to that. Not what some letter on a box means. You are coming down because some kid talked about Halo. But have you ever played it?

And if you hadn't been following along that is exactly what Ocyd said ;)
Yes, I have. And I'm not coming down based off Halo. Reread what I actually wrote. That was just one example and an amusing anecdote. And yes, parents shouldn't just exercise judgment. They should exercise GOOD judgment. Heck, why not hook your kid up with some porn in the afternoons instead of cartoons?
Ahh you mean this one

And no lemon cake for you.
Wow. Just wow. You really don't bother to read anything I've written this whole topic, do you? Not even worth my time at this point.

That is why you gotta use your imagination.

And Nate the only one who has wasted any time is me. I am the one who has put thought and effort into thier posts. You can't even be bothered to read what I am saying.

What's even more hilarious is how they just completely ignore us. I bet we could start talking about something else and they wouldn't even notice.
