Dolphin Gun, Destroyer of Worlds

I don't like Mass Effect. :( I tried to like it, but its just not for me. I like the shooting parts, but getting to them just bores me. Before I shoot bad guys, I have to navigate empty, labyrinthine cities, pilot that horrible Mako, deal with stupid elevators, sit through loading screens to choose my destination, or slowly navigate a horrible equipment interface. I liked everything else about the game, but those things I listed just ruined the game for me. :( |

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!

Completely understandable. The lulls in between action areas have been known to turn people off. I think part of my love for it stemmed from finally playing a game where I didn't have to babysit my teammates. I love the concept of AI handling combat gameplans you establish before going into battle. |

Mass Effect turned me off too. It was those areas where I ran around talking to people for hours without any real action that bored me into quitting. I've tried to play it twice before, but I always ended up stopping in the same spot. I have a feeling that if I could have made it overt that hump, ME might have turned out to be a great game. Maybe it will earn another chance someday. |

If either one of you profess to like Xenogears, your word will no longer have any merit with me. |

Xenogears > TSL. If trapped on a desert island, I'd pick Xenogears over TSL. And that's even if I didn't have anything to play it on.  Atelier Iris sucked so bad though that I never went near another of that series. |

Xenogears sucked, so you'll get no complaint from be. However, I like the Atelier series, because they are simple mindless fun RPGs with good humor. |

I wanted to like Xenogears... But when I got about halfway thru the game I realized I wasn't playing a videogame. I was reading a book on my PS2. If I want great stories without a game, I'll just read a book. |

With the exception of Ar Tone you got 2 out of the 3. Maybe if I had played Xenogears at a different time I would have appreciated it. It was just the NPC dialog that turned me off of it. |

shite man... The game was DOPE! The problem was that there wasn't much of it. When I was playing I really enjoyed it.. But I felt like I was reading 90% of the time and gaming 10%. It was a dissappointment. |

You are talking about Xenosaga not Xenogears. Gears was a PS1 game. Or are you going all Cybil on us? Can we talk to the real TSL? Or are you the real TSL? |
