Eh... We'll see about this one. I haven't bought many albums this year, but I can definitely agree with "Casa Bey" and "I'm On a Boat." I just bought The Ecstatic opff iTunes, so we'll see where that goes as well. I'll see what I can come up with. ;)

Nice list GLS. I already know I like some of those songs and I'll be sure to listen to the rest when I get home.

As for me, I can't do a top 20 because I don't listen to music quite like I used to. So I'll to a top 9 instead. :lol2:

#9 Lily Allen - The Fear

#8 Camera Obscura - You Told A Lie

#7 Matt and Kim - Lessons Learned

#6 Camera Obscura - The Sweetest Thing

#5 Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero

#4 Silversun Pickups - It's Nice To Know You Work Alone

#3 Dave Matthews Band - Why I Am

#2 Matt and Kim - Daylight

#1 Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll

You like "Why I Am" more than all of the other songs on the CD? It's definitely one of my favorites, but a few songs have it beat IMO, but to each their own ;) I LOVE "Shake Me Like A Monkey," "Spaceman," and "Dive In," so those would be my picks. "Funny The Way It Is" is also a personal favorite, haven't overplayed it yet so I'm still good with it.

I skimmed through almsot every song.

@GLS - Those two animal collective songs were really trippy. I heard that"my girls" song on last.fm before and liked it, that other song of theirs that you posted is good too, I feel like checking out more of their songs. I prefer auditorium over your #1 Mos Def song, I don't like that one very much, I wanted to post auditorum but since you already posted it I just picked another song from that album. Good choice with the I'm on a boat song, it always cracks me up. AKFG always sounds good too.

@TFM - I liked that Skeletons song you posted once before more than those two YYY songs, but those two songs arent bad either. Heads will roll is really weird (in a good way). That DMB song was good too, and I still like that Lily Allen song.

@GLS: That Mos Def song is pretty good, but I'm still not convinced about the entire album from what I've heard so far. The Animal Collective song (#2) is a bit too busy I think, and I also get the feeling that somehow the song sounds like it is obviously backwards. If I had this on vinyl, I'd be sure to play it backwards to check for hidden messages (spooky eh?). I said it in that other music thread, but I'm really liking that Shugo Tokumaru song; very cool! Those Asobi Seksu songs are interesting and I'll be sure to check out more of this later, as well as some of those other artists as well.

@blitz: Yeah, I like "Way I Am" the most, because it reminds me of the older DMB stuff the most on this album. It's kind of nonsensical, but I don't mind because it's a lot of fun. Other songs like "Dive In" and "Spaceman" are very good as well though, I just picked a favorite from the album is all (and with me, favorite songs on an album are subject to change with each listening).

@boost: I have to admit that I totally forgot about that "Skeletons" song when making my list. It would certainly be in my top 5 had I remembered. :thumb2:

I liked that song "Move" that you posted, which is surprising since I don't listen to much rap these days.
