Guessing only TFM has heard it so far. I just got it today (unfortunately AFTER I enjoyed the DMB concert full of new songs I didn't know...) but it is pretty awesome so far. I really enjoy DMB, but can only take small doses once in a while it seems, but since I just say him live I am pretty pumped to listen to his new stuff. I am also going to another show if my friend follows through with getting tickets for us.

Dave Matthews Band is the best band ever to go see a live a show. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the show enough to want to see another, I've been to about 15+ of their shows over the years, though I haven't seen them in a couple years lately (perhaps it was a bit of burnout). A live DMB show is so awesome because of how good the music is, how long the band plays, and also the general fun atmosphere of these shows. I'd really like to see them again soon and will most likely start going again next tour.

As for the new album, I like it. There are a whole lot of religious mentions though, including a song titled "Lying in the Hands of God" and many other mentions of Jesus, etc... I suppose these lyrics are a result of an album that almost seems to be focused on the death and memory of LeRoi Moore, but I don't think it takes away from the album at all. After listening to the album a few times through so far, I have to say my only complaint is that it's a bit over-produced, and they've let Tim Reynolds electric guitar addition take over too much. In the end, this album seems like a bit of a mix of song styles from the very early DMB days (for which I fell in love and have remained a lifelong fan) with the occasional feel of the 'Everyday' era (which was probably my least favorite time for the band).

If I'm to be honest, I'd give it a 3.5/5.0 so far. It's nowhere near close to the perfection of the 'Before These Crowded Streets' album, but this album shows the band walking a tightrope of the old and the new. It will be interesting to see what happens next as they continue to move forward without LeRoi.

Havent really been able to stop listening to this album over the last week and a half, and I am learning the songs pretty quick. I got tickets to the show in Bethel NY so I am VERY excited to go back and see him AGAIN (august 5th)!!!!!!!

Shake Me Like A Monkey is easily my favorite song off the album.
