Dolphin Gun, Destroyer of Worlds

I was trying to play some of my PSP games during my drive to and from Ontario, Canada. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony still sucks. I don't understand why Gamearts would make a port like this, and then somehow make the game even worse then the previous two versions. I also played God Eaters Burst. This game has the same problem Monster Hunter has, in that the game expects you to play with three friends (because the monsters have shitloads of hp), and it expects you to do things that are too precise for the PSP's shitty nub. There also needs to be another nub for the camera, because the camera control is also used for the lock-on. |

I actually really like Lunar: SSH. Don't see what the problem with it is..? :headscratch: |

I'm really over Okamiden. It's cute, but damn if it isn't the most boring thing ever. Battles drag on far too long (each boss is treated like the final boss on top of that), puzzles are simple, combat is mash y, cutscenes are never ending and extremely frequent (seriously, this trend needs to die. It doesn't make your story better to jabber forever about it), and it's just not very compelling to play. It's well done, but it's just dull. And with little time for dedicated gaming, it's extremely tough to force my way through this one. |

Started up Etrian Odyssey III. So many decisions! I really wish I liked any of these freaking gladiator pics. Honestly, I don't think these characters are as cute as last time. Anyway, I made a Hoplite/ Gladiator/ Arbalist/ Ninja/ Monk party. I thought about the mage class (forgot the name), but since there was only one, I figured it probably wouldn't be too big a problem if I passed. I'll probably use it as a support for my Arbalist. When I get shogun, I may reincarnate my gladiator into that role, but that may not be as effective for DD. |

Need advice: I need money badly. I was fine at the beginning, but I'm partway through B2 and my armor and weapons aren't up to snuff. This means I'm having to head back and heal frequently. But I'm barely getting enough money down there to even cover that cost, much less the cost of upgrading my equipment. Should I just be grinding lower areas for drops or what? |

make like 1 or 2 farmers (or 3), go to an item point and grab as much items as you can, go back, sell the stuff, sleep and repeat, you should get a decent amount of money after 4-5 trips. |

So... what is the point of the boat? Just something extra to do for fun? I've gotten to the lighthouse, but I don't really get what the point is. |

ya, just something extra, I didn't really push it to the end so I'm not sure if there anything special, but I heard there's some hard bosses at the end. |

Screw you catfish!! You take forever, are easy as sin and then killed everyone because I didn't take your hide in the mud move seriously. Next time I will use volt barrage each time. :x Edit: That boss was surprisingly easy. He took forever, but once I learned he'd wipe us all out if we didn't find his hidey-hole, I just used volt barrage to scare him back out and continued on. Really, as long as you have a Monk with Line Heal, someone with a hit all attack, and a Hoplite who knows Line Guard, it's a piece of cake. Whenever he hit everyone, Line Guard. Whenever he hit one character, either Provoke or Bodyguard. Monk heals, everyone else attacks. Easy peasy. I also took out the B3F FOE. Now I just need to go back and kill the B4F one. And question: What's up with the gold FOE dot I see sometimes? Edited by nate, Aug 16 2011, 07:46 PM.

it's a special type of FOE, it gives 15k exp if you manage to kill one, kind of like those metal slims in DQ, but a bit easier to kill. but you are doing pretty good, already killed the first boss?! Edited by kknd, Aug 16 2011, 08:49 PM.
