You know what could be awesome?
make Modern Warfare 3 an otome game halfway through, troll complete. 8)
I want to found a game company just to do this. Llort Games. "NILBOG! IT'S GOBLIN BACKWARDS!"

Thinking further on the concept of a game that continuously jumps between genres...I think it'd be pretty cool if executed correctly, and I'm not talking about Wild ARMS 4.
Nier did stuff like that but I think they ran out of money before they could make it epic

Neptunia is too long for nothing with all those random fetch quests, I'd prefer a 20h game with less distraction :/
Random fetch quests? I don't remember. You can get through 98% of the dungeons is 2-3 minutes ( a lot of them in under a minute) and you can blaze though the main story part in about 6 hours if you skip the scenes.
2-3 min? takes me around 6-10 mins... and my chars seem to be underleved
am I doing anything wrong?

I dunno, mainly just upgrading your gear at shops should work fine, if you want to level go after the them water baby things that you find in the runes in the dungeons there are five kinds if I remember right but they all look the same but some of the higher level ones drop rediculous amounts of exp. Depending on which dungeons you have available I think the one I was using was in the neo geo tower? How are you using your characters? what levels and were are you at?

I'm at level 35 and almost at the end of lastation and lowee, but the bosses are whooping my ass, they usually do like 1500 x 2 dmg or like 2000 dmg to every one plus another attack. My chars have like 3500 hp.

FFXIII is a pretty good game so far I find, minus the linear map and no town and all the flashbacks and the big messy story so far. Playing through chapter 5 right now :)

Let's see. The thing about this game was managing the ap so you can get the most out of the skills and combos for the cost. But it ends up being complicated to list out a good set up unfortunatley because it involves setting up cheap skills so you can use them depending on what the button you pressed before was. Also the skills sometimes set off conditions like switch if the combo ends on them etc. The basics I remember were compa is the gunner/healer. set her up with a long combo of cheap shooting skills. If was better at physical like kicking but has a group heal if you got that yet. Nep nep is just good at most everything so set her up so you can use a powerful attack at the end of her combo.
Getting them not to let themselves or others die, can be a pain though till you get a decent stock of supplies because they have to cross the conditions to activate it instead of letting you heal which ever on command. You really don't have to worry about money so just buy everything you want at the stores when you get the chance. I upgraded pretty much everytime and bought tons of materials for healing so. The menus are kinda a mess to navigate too but each charachter should have one with sliders that have options like 15% chance to heal when X happens (health below 50% etc) If has one that heals everyone at the end of battle when you get to a cetrain level. Compa has the best range of group heals. but each should have personal heal conditions. Fill up the bars that are most useful. I never used any other than the healing ones. In another maybe ten, fifteen levels you should feel the tide turning where you can pretty much destroy mobs without them getting a single hit in.
The bosses especially leanbox's can be a pain. I went after Noir first which is really helpful to have. Probably not much help but good luck. It gets easier as it goes on because they actually become reliable at taking care of themselves until then though... just keep your stock up.

Aside from just flat out getting tired of playing it, the only real drawback I had was that it took a minute to set your characters up, and when the game decided it wanted to switch characters, it was lost. :|

So do yourself a favor, and jot down your favorite battle setup so you can get back to what you love asap.

My main complaints:

1. Poorly told story.
2. Stupid EXP system. Some battles would take ages and give the same experience as crappy little monsters.
3. Linearity. FFX was linear but it didn't feel this way. This game felt like one literal hallway. You started it at the beginning of the game and walked down it until the end. I like linearity, but this was a bit much even for me.

Ya, that's what I noticed so far too, they started out the first 2-3 chapters by throwing out a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo without any real explanation, then they kept showing those flashbacks in random order, a big mess.

GLS: so far my chars are still limited at 3-4 specific roles so it's not that bad, but I will take that in mind. thanks :thumb2:

So Okamiden still plays like Zelda, but now like 2-D Zelda and not 3-D Zelda. I like the switch. What I don't like is that there are still roaming encounters everywhere that take forever and don't even give EXP.
