Dolphin Gun, Destroyer of Worlds

I am taking a break from my DS for a while. I tried playing Dragon Quest 6, but after playing through DQ5 and 9, it just feels like a bad game. It doesn't do anything particularly well. I am trying to play through GTA: San Andreas on my computer. At first, my mouse would not work with the game, but plugging in a gamepad suddenly made it work for some reason. I hate how I have to play it with the frame rate limiter on, though. 25 FPS just looks awkward when it can run at 60 FPS with it off. Unfortunately, the timing of certain missions in the game get messed up if you turn it off, so I have to leave it on. Console ports. :( Oh, and I'm also playing the original Saint's Row. Its a pretty crappy game compared to the sequel, but I loaded up my file and noticed I am almost done with the game, so I'll just finish it. Edited by doomer, Jul 11 2011, 01:03 PM.

That's cause DQVI IS a bad game compared to those two. It's by far the weakest of the DS DQs. It starts off decent enough but then falls apart and becomes a nuisance. I didn't particularly enjoy it. |

This final dungeon of Ys II is a bit annoying. So far it's been... East > West > Underground > Leave > Return > Underground > West > East > Central > Leave > Return... This final dungeon is lasting quite a while longer than most other parts of the game and I think I preferred the layout and flow of the first Ys game better. Due to watching the WWC yesterday, I didn't quite have enough time to finish this game. It will be completed tonight for sure. |

I started Secret of Evermore. It seems like it will be a great game. |

I saw Black Ops at Redbox today. Since I replaced our crappy Linksys router with a nice Netgear router, I thought I'd try it. My friend insisted my lag and hit detection issues with the game were because of my router, so I figured it would be better. It was not. Like I told him before, its the game, not my internet. At least it only cost me $2 to try it again. |

Okamiden is adorable. It seems to be more focused on puzzles than platforming than the original. I'm loving these graphics, though. |

I do not like that the main character is named Chibiterasu. That just sounds like a stupid name |

You don't like that the main character is named Tiny Sun? What would you want the son of the sun goddess called? :D |

The name of the character is not going to stop me from playing it. It is Okami, so I want to play it. i just think it is a dumb name. |

I've been trying to finish this damn 2nd Prestige in Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer, but the only people playing this game now are stupid kids and other assorted douchebags. And they all use the same lame, gimmicky builds. So I give up. |

I enjoyed those first two Ys games so much that I've now started playing Ys: Oath in Felghana. A great many things have changed in the gameplay, but I'm not hating it. I am enjoying the new perspective of the game and wondering how it will affect the non-linearity of the later dungeons. If the mines are any indication, it would seem that the dungeons will be laid out in much more of a Metroid/Castlevania style, though I could be wrong. I don't mind mashing the X button in combat so far and mixing in the jumps and magic makes this game feel a lot more like a Tales.. game, only better and faster because there is no separate battle screen. In other words... So far, so good. |
