Started Shadows of the Damned tonight. There is certainly quite a bit of Mikami's influence in the gameplay as the over-the-shoulder gun mechanics plays a lot like RE4. The attitude of the game is all Suda 51 though and there is quite a lot of humor mixed in with the ghastly atmosphere of Hell. So far the game has been pretty manageable in terms of difficulty, but it is still early and I am now at a point of the game in which I am having to start using the health restoring alcohol.

I'll be sure to share more opinions as I continue to play this game.

Well I made it back to post game only took me maybe 3 or 4 hours and started making spare blank traps in class world using the majinI figure I may a sw ell level the class while I'm at it. When it learns violence hopefully I'll have a full set of max snipers, crap I still need at least one set of guardians and some other innocents. freaking game just when it looks like your getting close to the end it just gets farther and farther away. Maybe I'll just start perfecting one of the traps, probably for movement because I never did get my hands on a usable pair of legendary barefoot X's. I'm goinf to be playing this for another month. I just know it.

I rented Brink from a Redbox last night. I knew the game had some serious issues when it was first released, so I figured at this point a patch would have taken care of some of that. I don't know what the patch did, but it didn't make the game any better. The AI is still freaking retarded, and the netcode is still busted.

Redbox has videogames? I've never seen that around here :(

Yeah, but they don't have much to pick from. Its only $2 a day, though.

Been pimpin' since pimpin's been pimpin', pimpin'!
I just bought/am currently playing Magic: The Gathering 2012 off PSN. It's been a while since I was actually into MTG, so I figured this would be a fun way to light up a bit of nostalgia. It's ok so far, but my main issue will be the amount of control I have over the decks. I'm not sure if you can edit the decks at will, but you damn well better be allowed to.

That would be awesome if they made a Magic game you couldn't edit the decks on.

Apparently in the last one (or something like that) it wasn't very extensive. I like building from the ground up, but I don't know if we can do that in this game.

I finished Lair of the Shadow Broker. It was so freaking good. It was the best of the DLC packs included with the PS3 version (Arrival is the only one not incuded). The story was cool. It was awesome to fight along side Liara again, as well. Off to do Thane's loyalty mission

@FS: I wish I could rescue my ME1 save file from my old RROD 360. If I could, I'd start ME2 already.

I started playing Ys 1&2 Chronicles on the PSP yesterday. I just reached level 2 and am about to talk to the fortune teller again to get this adventure kicked off. If I enjoy these two games, the other Ys PSP games will likely be played next.

I did all of the loyalty missions in Mass Effect 2. I guess the only thing left to do is go to the derelict reaper ship

Downloaded the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta. Froze on me twice while trying to update, then network problems in game, then it froze again. So I'm done with that...

Been playing Infamous since it was available from the welcome back thing. I think I'm done with that too though. It's a fun little toy to run around in and mess with but thats all I get from it. No motivation to finish the story or anything.

First summer section ended today so I have a whole weekend to do whatever I want with. Decided to give Vanquish a try. That game is TERRIBLE. It's just about everything that makes me think games are mentally retarded as an art form in one neat package.

Whoa! Really? I mean, it is not the greatest game ever, but it's not that bad.

Edit: Looking back at my review, I gave the game an A. Remembering what made me give it that grade, I really cannot imagine what you find so terrible about this game Nate. Sure, it took a while to feel comfortable with the controls and action, but I thought this game was fun.
