Where dreams come to come true.
|
Same here. Except I spent about 2500 pennies on it. I was discussing it with someone last night, and they summed it up well: "I love Little Big Planet, I just hate playing it." Couldn't have come up with a better way to describe it myself. I'm kind of glad I'm not alone on that here. I enjoyed it well enough when I first played it, but when I tried playing it recently, all I could think was how it just wasn't any fun. |

I wasn't the hugest fan of the first, but I adore the second. Part of it is that it's a much tighter game, but part of it is that my perspective shifted. I stopped thinking of it like Mario and more like a puppet show. So things like the floaty jumping etc made a whole lot more sense and no longer bothered me. |

If Little Big Planet is this generations Mario, Little Big Planet 2 is this generations Mario 3. They are both brilliant games that move platforming ahead by leaps and bound. Very innovative |

I thought about digging up the old psu progress thread to post this but it seemed wrong maybe it's the interface or that the thread died years ago. Any way. Over the course of the day Mao jumped from 82 or so to 4409 by being in the honor students club. I'll be ready for the cat god trophy next time the room comes up. I have 3 lvl 9999 characters: thief, prinny mask and a martial artist I forget what tiers they were from. I got back into the the land of carnage and didn't even have to pass any weaker enemy bills from the max strongest I have it set at I even picked up a legendary arcadia so I'm that much closer to the trapohedron after i run through it. I've got 3 full sets of testaments maxed out with dual stat sprinters for them to wear because they've all just been using the same duplicated fist weapon this whole time. If I keep at it at this rate and don't have to go through series of reincarnating my main party I may be able to get the platinum befor disgaea 4 is released. If I don't have a breakdown before then. I think they'll still need better equipment before I try the 100 floor loc run even if I set everything to easy and use the lowest rank item I can find plus there's the loc pirates. I saw that group in a mystery room together today. It was terrifying. |

Okami partially restored Kusa Village. encountering some sidequests this part of the game. movin' along kinda slowly. the story isn't terribly compelling, but the game sure is beautiful. |

I have to say that the user created maps are MUCH more fun than the original ones, so kudos to the creators. (LBP) |

I kinda wanna pick this up. I LOVED the first one, but never really got on board with the sequel. I'm interested to see how it transitions to the DS. |

So far? Not well. I wasn't the hugest fan of the first ones (one was solid fun, two I didn't even finish), but I was in the mood for a portable RPG and there's not a lot left that I haven't played and am interested in. It's really (and I HATE this term, so you know I mean it) kiddied up. You're the junior explorers and everyone will speak down to you! You need to go and find the ingredient to fix the thing you broke so the adults can get back to protecting the world! I honestly feel condescended to by these characters. Add to that really thick running (it's like navigating through molasses) that brakes and needs to speed back up each time you shift direction and wonky psynergy touch screen controls, and I'm not the hugest fan. The battle system is pretty much exactly the same as the other games, so there's that, I guess. |

Dolphin Gun, Destroyer of Worlds

I tried playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 at my brother's house today. It was fun until I got to the boss and it proceeded to kick my ass repeatedly on Easy. |

Got some PS minis recently, three free ones that come with PS+ and Blimp: The Flying Adventures for around 2 bucks. No regrets, it's a fantastic little game |

I am currently on Chapter 12 in Uncharted 2. This game is better than the first and damn near perfect so far. |
