Yup. It's a region free game. :thumb:

@FS: It's been a while since I played Half-life 2. That game was a lot of fun though.

I played the Duke Nukem Forever demo. It was like any other modern demo. You get like five minutes of gameplay, and it really doesn't help me decide if I want the game or not.
You wait over a decade for the game and now you don't even know if you want it. That's some shit.

The game is brilliant. It is much MUCH better than pretty much all other modern shooters. The story is interesting. The characters are compelling. It has cool weapons on top of hte standard fair. The physics were awesome. It had some really cool puzzle elements to break up the action. It is very well paced AND IT'S WORLD HAS FRIGGIN COLOR

I took Epic Mickey back. It just wasn't very good. The lady there asked me if I didn't like it because it was simply "too much" for me (it's like her favorite game; she's mentioned it damn near every time I see her). I think I got shit talked by a middle aged woman at Blockbuster?

Picked up Portal 2. They moved the new Prince of Persia out of the rental to the sale section and that was the one game they had I was holding out on. Figured I have 5 days left before I cancel at the end of my month, so why not check out Portal 2? There wasn't jack better, anyway. And... It's Portal. Again. Physics puzzle in a room. Quippy robot dialog. Repeat. I was bored and over it the first time.

So yeah, Blockbuster rentals: Cool idea, pretty cheap. I burned through a good number of games. Problem was: Their selection was absolute shit. Godawful crap for the most part. There were a number of big games I wanted to rent that they simply didn't have. I wasn't too pleased with that.

I can open up the Loc at any point now, but I still have some chores to do. Mao and all the story characters are in the 80's my leathal combatant is 9999 my mater thief and 4th tier Prinny Mask are about even at 6000 or so. I still need to level an equipment piece to duplicate and distribute with the innocents I've farmed up. If I do that and pass all the weaker enemy bills I may have a slim shot at taking down prinny Baal in the normal world for his Makai Wars but if I do that I may as well go straight to the LoC and try to find something better. plus I need to free up some inventory space and do more class world runs.

Infamous

It's not bad climbing up buildings and stuff but seriously what kind of MC can't take 4 or 5 point blank shotgun blasts to the chest and not still fight. seriously he can jump off a high rise and be fine but realism demands bullets be like his cryptonite!?!

Shadow of the Colossus

Stuck on #10. He's the serpent-like boss that swims through the sand and who comes up occassionally only to hurt me if I try to jump on his side where the fur is and hold R1. My arrows do nothing to him no matter where I shoot him. Oh well, maybe I'll figure out how to fight this guy someday.

Killzone

Stuck on the final boss. I foolishly decided to run through my first playthrough on Hard mode and now the final fight is absurdly difficult. I might just bite the bullet and redo the entire last level on Normal mode instead, but boy does that annoy me when I've beaten the rest of the game on Hard.

Been playing Hots Shots Golf (PS3) and FFIII off and on, minor stretches of progress here and there. Not enjoying FFIII much, just want it to be over.

I think you have to get on him, but I can't remember the details. I just know you have to get on him and climb up him as he comes up and get to his special weakness spot.t

That is to say, there's a way to grab onto his fur and be on him. I just don't know exactly how. I realize that is zero help, but whatever. 8)

I need to play this game again. :sigh: Been too long.

Well the HD remaster looks promising. They're even touting 3D support, but I have no plans on buying a 3DTV.

Yeah. AS long as teh 3D is optional, we're good. When they make it mandatory, I will be pissed. This goes for you, too, Nintendo.

HE can use the power of electricity to make a soft landing on the ground. He cannot use it, however, to deflect bullets

Finished Chapter 6 of Portal 2 (which felt like it took years). This game is definitely a refinement of the first game. If you liked that, you'll love this. If you, like me, thought it was neat, but not that fun, this is going to be largely the same. Lots of "neat" stuff with an interesting story (though I'm tired of every single line of dialog trying to be a punchline), but not that compelling past the original "Well, that's kind of cool" factor. Still, it's taken the first game and notched everything up. It's quite commendable as a sequel that does things right.

Wait what!?! He can deminish gravity heal the dying (oh and about that, sometimes if you are to late they get up by themselves and look at you like "What the hell were you going to do you perv") and all sorts of nonsense but metal bullets, METAL are beyond his ability. he can even bind people to the grond with electricity fer crise sake.
