Where dreams come to come true.

The Mana games are kinda overrated though. Secret was the best (read: only good one), but I think Sword of Mana follows that mantra pretty well, but goes kind of like this: Explore a vast world and get lost in it Locate or find the same treasure you already looted Fight Get stronger Kick ass until you get lost again |

Oh no doubt. I actually agree with Nate Dogg in 2011. I'd be lying if I said nostalgia and the soundtrack weren't the main ingredients in me liking it now. Plus, it's on my phone, so I can play it for 10 minutes and put it down thanks to autosave, so the repetitiveness doesn't have time to get old. ;) Had he made that comment in 1993, tho.. It would have been on. Edited by TSL, Feb 25 2011, 08:43 AM.

DQVI is huge. Two worlds and both are sizeable worlds. Now that I've got a boat in both, I just wasted an hour just exploring what there was in only one. Luckily, there's a character who'll tell you where you need to go next or I'd be pretty off track. |

I am in chapter 5 of DQIV. This game is so cool, and I am loving that the characters are now starting to come together around the chosen one. I know this game is very old, but the way this was done, through smaller stories, is very unique. I like it! |

Kingdom of paradise is a boring game, nothing about it is fun... Steal Princess' control... IS HORRIBLE! I wish the game would end already, too bad there's like 125 LEVELS! (that's strike 2 for climax btw) I hate Lost Magic... The game is either way to easy or super cheap... and the story sucks (so far) |

My one big complaint about DQVI- Every goddamned dungeon is a maze. That's fine now and then, but I just want to grab the treasures, get to the goal and bounce. Not wander through the halls for an hour wondering if I've seen this part of the dungeon yet or if it still needs to be explored. :? |

 I'm about 2h of grinding from finishing KoP, so I'll do that when I feel like it and I'll probably never finish lost magic :P ... ... ... oh I started my DQ marathon, I'm not going to wait for my friend anymore, he gave me a list of games that he intend to finish before starting the marathon and there like 13 games (3 are RPG) so I was like screw that :P got to level 10, so far so good... surprisingly addicting for a grindfest |

If anyone plays DQVI and the FAQs still aren't finished, buy the guide. I'm so out of order at this point, it's insane. The worlds are huge, made to be explored and I did so in the wrong orders. Also, there's 0 guidance (partially due to the fact this game has literally no overarching story- the extent is the world feels off, go forth and journey). It's just wander until you find something. And even once you've found somewhere, there's always some catch or trick that you can get hints about from NPCs. This is both one of the best and the most obnoxious DQ. |

Hm. DQIV is very straightforward and with little open world exploration so far, so this change could be interesting. On the one hand, I enjoy knowing that I am on the correct path. On the other, being told exactly where to go, such as being told that the item I am looking for is in the cave to the west, is perhaps a bit too much hand-holding. |

For real, grinding is a real pain in the butt in Dragon Warrior. Can't do anything unless you grind for ten hours. |
