Minute I read his name I thought to myself, "That's gonna be a problem."

Wish I knew you had this game, though, since I picked it up and want to play it, but decided to hold off cause I didn't think anyone else had it, though. :(

I started Batman: AA. I played for about three hours yesterday afternoon and this game is good fun, but so far it is not the earth shatteringly awesome experience everyone else says it is. I am enjoying the controls and movements of Batman, and it is very cool to glide down from above to attack enemies. Combat is fluid and fun. Also, the characters and story are well done and really interesting so far.

I suppose that if I had one gripe, it would be with how many times I've had to open and crawl around in air vents, which requires tapping the A button a bunch of times for no real reason. Just a minor annoyance, like the lack of a save anywhere feature. Okay... So there are two small gripes so far. 8)

Rolling right in Epic Mickey. I have no feelings one way or the other, and they haven't gotten better, but they haven't gotten worse. If I had to guess...maybe halfway through? Not sure-ish. Sooner rather than later.

Did go to GameFAQs board to read some stuff on it, and man, that place sucks. Particularly love one guy saying, "This is just like Mario Kart. I don't like them putting characters in games they don't belong. They should leave Mickey alone." :? Exactly what type of game does Mickey belong in if not a platformer and the entire game is about the battle against irrelevancy so clearly they didn't want to leave him alone. Definitely not out of his element, dumb GameFAQs poster.

I've become a monster. I'm now playing 4 games at once. I used to only play one, beat it, start the next. Then, it was only 2, but only if one was something casual. Now, I'm playing 4.

So I started up 999, too. It's interesting so far. Some gross ass stuff happened (though I'm sure you guys would find it mild), but then again it is like 1 of 5 M rated games on the DS.

Been giving a little attention to Zenonia as of late, especially given my "thirty seconds at a time until I can actually fight something  " period is finally over. Pretty fun game. Some of the character models annoy me, but other than that, it's pretty fun. I'm at a point where I need to level a bit, cause I got to the Cave of Deceit and died five times in about three minutes and now I don't have enough money to revive without harsh penalties, so I dunno if I want to forge forth, or see if I can't get my regular leveling stuff back.

I started playing Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard yesterday afternoon. After playing through what I think was the first level, I can say that the game play kind of sucks. However, the plot is really clever and many of the jokes (all made at the expense of gaming in general) are actually funny. If this game had a better cover system (the Y to change cover part is nice though) and perhaps an objective way-point, it would be much less frustrating.

More thoughts on this game to come in the next few days.

Funniest part so far... The screen was filling up with objectives and Matt complains, so then the objectives disappear and it simply says, "Kill anything that moves." :lol2:

I am about 10 hours into Crisis Core. This is a much better game than Final Fantasy VII was. It's main character has a personality. That is, always, a good place to start. Zack is, also, quite likable. He is a good character

Playing Rune Factory 3 and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stone, it reminds me the reason why I don't need a camera or DSiware on my DS.

After another afternoon spent with Matt Hazard, my impressions of this game are improving. Yesterday I complained about the cover system, but it has certainly grown on me now. The only remaining issue is that I have a tendency to hold a direction while pressing A, which shifts me around the cover point instead of breaking away as intended. Either way, what was a major complaint is now just a minor gripe.

The game is a bit buggy in places, but that is ok, as I haven't come across any game breaking flaws. Also, the combat is fun. I am reminded of XIII when I play this game, because like that game, headshots are almost necessary for success, and while the AI isn't exactly smart, they can kill you quickly.

The humor of this game is touch and go, but the funny parts do make me chuckle. I now realize that nearly everything about this game is a parody, even the way that Matt Hazard runs (slowly), is simply something that has to be experienced to appreciate.

Funniest joke today... While riding the ridiculously slow elevator, Matt says, "Oh calm down! You're playing a video game, it's not like you've got some place to be."

I've started playing Gears of War. This is one of those games I tried playing a couple years ago and quit before the first act was completed, simply because I thought it sucked. Playing this game now, I realize that it doesn't suck, but it isn't the amazingly great game everyone said it was either.

I prefer for FPS games to be more methodical, tactical, and not a spray and pray like Gears. Gears of war is so much of a spray and pray shooter that they don't even give the player a proper aiming reticule, just a big awkward looking aiming circle. Headshots do not seem to be very important in this game and there are no one shot kills, which is disappointing to me, because I usually like to play like a sniper in FPS games.

Another complaint I remember having with this game was with the cover system. Using cover in FPS games is fine, but there is something about the way it is done in this game that I didn't like. Well, I've figured out that it is not the cover system I don't like, but the clunkiness of how it is used. In other words, I hate how machismo this game is, with the big muscular characters and enemies, all using big guns, and acting all rough and tough with their deep, growling voices; this game is just trying too hard.

Still, I am having fun playing on the causal difficulty setting. This game will probably be finished in a couple more days.
