Where dreams come to come true.

101 stars on Super Mario Galaxy 2. Debating whether it's worth the pain to complete this fly galaxy in World 5, cause the secret coin is a bitch. I could wrap it up, conceivably in about a half hour, but we'll see. 19 to go? I think I can swing that. Nothing's been too tough to this point as far as actual stars go anyway. Yeah, the secret world is the one that'll get you. I 100% all the normal worlds, but said eff it trying to do the stuff there. It just wasn't worth the effort. |

Is the secret world AFTER Bowser? If it is, I don't know how much effort I'll put towards it. |

I've been playing Super Mario All-Stars for the past couple of nights. SMB1 & 3 have been completed, leaving only 2 & 2J left to play. |

Lost Levels is insane. The save system (at least on the SNES version, I assume it holds true here) is an absolute godsend. Level 8-3 has to be the most absurd level in Mario Bros. history...something I now want to know for fact. You need the jumping ability of Luigi but the precision of Mario and since you can't have what the other has, it becomes a serious no win situation. :P I've beaten it once in nearly 20 years. What is the save system for those games? Every level? Castles? |

For Lost Levels, it saved after every level. The rest are after each world in 1-2 and dungeons and castles in 3. I assume it holds up, but tfm can clear it up if not. And answer my question, ya knob! |

My right shoulder really hurts, and the reason for this pain is because I played so much GT5 this afternoon. Tonight, I did all of the Online Events #3 races, which earned me a lot of money and experience points, bringing me to level 28. Level 28 is important, because it unlocks the Indy 500 endurance race, with the prize for winning being the amazing Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66 (a whopping 20M credit car!). Since I really wanted this car and because I had nothing else to do, I decided to settle down and do this 200 lap race. I decided to use the The Minolta 88C-V Race Car for this race, which was a good choice, since I felt it matched the competition well. However, I ended up dominating the AI. Each lap was about 40 seconds, making the entire race last for 2 hours and 22 minutes, start to finish. By the end of the race, I had lapped the 2nd place car 16 times. This was due to a good setup I think, and because the car lent itself well to never having to lift off the throttle. I am certainly glad this race is over. I am also happy that I got such a cool car as a prize and that the race gave me enough experience to reach level 29. Still, my shoulder is in a lot of pain right now, so no more GT5 for a while, or at least until the new online events are added next week. Edited by thinkfreemind, Jan 11 2011, 11:42 PM.

That's why you use the DualShock in Gran Turismo games. :roz1: Not to mention, the precision of d-pad steering is unrivaled. |

 I can't imagine being in physical pain while playing GT. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. :roz2: |

Ironic: That ME thread had the exact opposite effect than certain posters intended. Now I legitimately do have such a bad taste in my mouth regarding the game that I don't want to go near it. Before I just hated the tech issues and had mixed feelings about the game itself, but now I can't even stand the thought of it. So now if I tried to keep going, I really would hate it regardless. Well done. Now what the hell am I supposed to do with this $20 hunk of plastic? |

I'm 5 hours in infinite undiscovery and I thought it's a pretty good game so far. Not a big fan of the characters though, they are all kind of weird. Playing Castle Crashers once a week and it really fun, the game is getting a bit hard though but I'm enjoying it :) I also played a bit of Avalon code, but still not sure what I can say about it, not much is going on so far and I have been playing it for like 3 hours. The control is so-so but the code scan thing is pretty cool. You have a book called book of prophecy and you get to use it to scan any NPC or monsters and you can change some of their attributes to modify their stats. Started Lost Magic, and it kinds of reminds me of FFXII:RW... not good :(, hopefully it won't be a grindfest like RW... |
