So I decided I wanted to give MAG a try last night. I pop the game disc in and boot it up. It says it needs to update. That's fine. I expected that. It updates quickly, and I figure, "That wasn't so bad." It is not done toying with me, though. It says it needs to update further. "What?" The update is 600 megs "What?!" It took probably 40 minutes to download the update and 20 minutes to install the update. Ugh. Then I watch the opening cut scene, and it shows me a list of updates and improvements. These things are, usually, important, so I give it a read. I get done with that, and it takes me to the character creation screen. It isn't long, nor is it in depth. after that, it takes me to the weapons load out screen. UGH! I JUST WANT TO PLAY ALREADY! I set up my weapons and deploy to my chosen faction. We can't let you play yet. You must complete the training mission. *facepalm* Luckily, the training mission is short. I breeze through it and am FINALLY ready to actually play the damned game. *headdesk* It took about an hour and a half to get to that point The good news is that I will not have to do all this crap again |

Playing Nier if anyone hasn't found out by now. The game is fine. I actually like it. Feels like Lost Odyssey at times. Although, quests can be a pain sometimes. I picked it up for $13. |

That freakin' electric room is ridiculous! I get all the way till the last two wire crossings and can't get further. I know I'm pressing the right buttons, but he won't go past it. -_- Putting it up for the night. :x |

It looked like it was the only path to take. The other parts had electricity...I tried going another way at the end and I ended up looping all the way back to the beginning. I thought maybe that was what I was supposed to do and it would end up looping me back again to the other side. Figured it was the games way of torturing the player, but it didn't. I'll try again in a bit.... |

Yeah, that part frustrated the hell out of me, too. It's the only part of the game that's unclear like that. |

I had been taking the right path, I found out the problem was that the last button I was supposed to press was a 'pump' and not a 'hold'...only it's nearly impossible to tell because the button icons are always shaking regardless....oh well, it's over now. Edited by Strife, Dec 28 2010, 08:07 PM.

Oh dear God. This is just embarassing. Fling Smash may be a troll in disguise. This game is the Wiimote +'s coming out party and it's the biggest waggle fest I've ever played. I felt like I had tighter control in Wii Sports. The only reason we've got it, though, is cause we needed another Wiimote and this game came packaged with the new Wiimote + and was the exact same price on sale as just buying the standalone control. |

Yeah, the ONLY way anyone should go near this is if they need a wiimote and it's the same price as the standalone. It's not worth even the $10 extra it would cost at full price. |
