I'm gonna go ahead and say KH: 358/2 Days is a pass for all but the most diehard of Kingdom Hearts fans. The story is somewhat touching, but is obviously a fill in the blanks tale. The gameplay is so repetitive, though. There are only 7 levels and you replay them killing them same handful of enemies over and over and over and over.

The tank sucks, I swear I wasn't even 30ft from the enemies radiator and it missed after I targeted it dead center. Which is especially stupid cause Largo destroys the same kind in 1 hit. Killed Ty the invincible but still only got a "B".

Was very disappointed with the Heavy rain demo. Where's the chick showering in her apartment? why's there this fat dude? what kind of control scheme is this? is the whole game just quick time events.

Death spank didn't seem too bad.

Yes, the whole of Heavy Rain is quick time events. I will say that that chapter is the worst in the game, though.

Luckily it's in the very beginning and it gets much better from there. Ocyd, the scenes in the demo are primarily for character introduction and setting up the plot. How badass is the ARI system, though? 8)

Screw it. Even if you do like Kingdom Hearts, avoid this POS. This game is awful. Awful, awful, awful. I've invested 24 hours and am on mission like 78/93 and I'm about ready to just say screw it. It's not fun. And, frankly, I don't give a damn what happens to these characters anymore. The plot has gone absolutely NOWHERE despite a cutscene accompanying almost every mission.

Watching some dude play mass effect on youtube since I have no other way of experiencing it and I am going to get ME2 when it is out on PS3. Cool story so far, I can't believe how incredibly detailed the universe that they built is.

IT just is not the same as experiencing it yourself an making the tough decisions. I wonder if it gives you all of the primary and secondary entries in the log book that fill out all of the details of everything you could ever possibly want to know about the universe they created in the game. The game is amazing, and you really should find a way to actually play it

Yeah it's crazy how well thought out everything in those games are. There's an in-game "encyclopedia" (can't remember what it's really called) that details terms, races, technology-everything. They even go in to detail as to why one race of aliens talk the way that they do....O_O

-edit- Log Book. That's what I was talking about. (thanks fs!)

Professor Layton is still going, but at a much slower rate than earlier in the week due to the newest patch for GT5, which makes the game SO much better. PD is listening to their fans it seems and in the latest update they have made a bunch of major (and minor) changes such as...

Giving money and experience rewards for online races (even if it isn't much, it's way better than nothing).

Raising the prize amounts for races and challenges in the game until early January.

Adding an online used car garage, which takes care of the PGT car issue.

Adding new seasonal online events that will change, with nice big rewards for completion. This is a great way of adding more (much needed) events to the game and will help the game remain fresh.

Allowing the backup of saved game data to another memory device ...and more.

These changes to the game couldn't have come soon enough, since I was just about to stop playing for a while until changes exactly like these happened. I really like the way that they are supporting this game so far and as a huge GT fan, I hope they wont stop improving the game for a nice long time.

Mario v DK: Mini Land Mayhem- Kind of clever, but also kind of stressful to play. Sarah bought this one and I decided to give it a whirl since it seemed like something I might enjoy, too.

All right, screw this game. It just sucks. I'm gonna chalk up a wasted afternoon and call it quits. It's just not fun at all. 90% of it is boring and easy, the other 10% is just annoying trial and error. There's no fun part or feeling of accomplishment. I made it halfway through World 6 (of 8) and it's just not worth my time to go any further.

Probably gonna start Hard/Heavy (which is it again?) Rain tonight. I'm either gonna be sucked in or it'll be one I play little by little over a long period of time. The last game of this nature I played was an X-Files game on the PSone....I don't think I have very fond memories of that game.... :headscratch:
