I'm around 3-4 hours in Velvet Assassin, so far the game is pretty good, the control is fluid and stealth killing is fun :), the AI is pretty stupid though, like as long as they don't see my character, I can open a door right in front of them and they won't notice anything, they also ignore random blown fuses and they are more blind than MGS grunts, they also don't know how to open at least 50% of the doors, which is pretty stupid. The checkpoints are a bit too far from each other IMO and I can imagine the frustration in when I get further in the game, it takes a small mistake to screw up everything and your char dies in about 2-3 gun shots. |

Velvet Assassin was one of the few games I ever returned to EB for a full refund because of how glitchy it was. I literally fell through the floor and was unable to continue at one point and the enemies would run into the walls instead of coming after me. I was pissed I paid the full 60 bucks. The game has some good ideas, but fails in execution. |

I would gladly play the game for 10 bucks, but it's definitely not 60 dollar material. |

My first PS3 experience was falling through the floor in Prince of Persia, Elika saving me and then me falling right back through the floor in a constant loop. |

Similar thing happened to me in Prince of Persia on the 360. When the temple collapses in the beginning, I got stuck inside and was able to walk around. The floor looked like it was intact, but when I walked on it, I fell through. It wouldn't let me out the damn door so I had to restart the game. |

Starting the third year in Atelier Rorona, everything is going butter smooth, I'll even try to go for Astrid's ending, but I think I'll probably end up with the true ending or Cory's ending |

Where dreams come to come true.

Wish me luck. About to tackle the final boss in Vesperia with just five life bottles. Apparently, I forgot to trip a switch somewhere so I can't use the teleportation devices, which mean I'll have to spend another two hours running out of the dungeon and back into it if five life bottles don't prove to be enough. At least I think I'm getting ready to tackle the final boss. But it probably isn't knowing my luck. OH SWEET LORD. THERE IS A TELEPORTATION DEVICE I CAN USE!!! :yay: :yay: Edited by goodlucksaturday, Dec 16 2010, 05:36 PM.

Okay, suggestion time. What should I tackle next? Gonna be in my collection, just easier that way. Don't care if it's a replay or not. Preferably not something I've played recently. Really preferably not Star Ocean 4. |

Star Ocean 4. At least that way you don't have to go through the pain alone. |

Isn't everyone almost done with it though? I'm going to pretend I sold it. I can't put up with actually playing the stuff I've read in that thread right now. Damn horror stories over there under the guise of "But I actually like it!" Bunch of sick masochists talking about this game. |

Super Mario Galaxy 2. The fact you haven't finished it is a little embarassing. ;) |

True. I just kind of quit on it, didn't I? BAD TIMES. Shouldn't take long to finish it. Be a nice break from ZOMGLEWORLDSAVINGBADTALKING. |

Yeah, you didn't even quit so much as stop. It was all, "This game is awesome, but no game interests me. Sadface." |
