Still just the occasional CoD4 match.... though I had an urge to continue my 2nd playthrough of MGS4, that game is that SHAT. Just don't feel like I could put in the solid time right now, so don't want to continue, stop, then not want to play anymore. Need to play Xenosaga III (not far in that at all....) and then after is HOPEFULLY my last PS2 game, if I ever get to it and give it serious time. Just got it for my birthday in March, feel like I am going to get frustrated quick and never touch it again, but I know it's an awesome game so I will not start it until I am 100% ready.... Dragon Quest VIII. |

This weekend I downloaded a couple of games, Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Marble Blast Ultra. I love MvC2 (even though I was getting my butt handed to me online) and the 360 version is now the third 'copy' of this game I own. I enjoy playing the game a lot, but compared to the people I played online, I really need to start practicing again if I ever hope to win a match. Also, because I own a Hori stick for the 360, this is the first time I've been able to play the game like I used to in the arcade! As for Marble Blast Ultra, it could be the best $5 I've ever spent on a game. I love Marble Madness, so this game is like a play down memory lane. It's very addictive because you're always trying to go faster, or sometimes just to make it through a tough level at all. I looked on YouTube a few minutes ago and I saw videos of people doing things I hadn't even imagined possible to get really low times. I'm not finished with the game quite yet, but I've played it for hours already. This game is very well worth the $5. Edited by thinkfreemind, Aug 16 2009, 11:31 PM.

I watched some MGS videos on youtube and that made me feel like replaying MGS2. The controls are so dated but the game is still fun.

Goddamn last night sucked :x . The one game that I was confident in (I hate Downpour with a passion, especially on HC), and that I actually set up a decent arrangement for I get disconnected from. Then my PS3 disconnects from the internet entirely. Fuck this school network shat. Anywho, I feel like I might actually go through with a replay of P3, especially if I keep having issues with PSN. I loaded one of my save files yesterday, from right before December 31, and went through the bad ending for kicks and giggles. The only thing keeping me from replaying is that damn Tartarus. If it was structured more like the P4 dungeons I'd be fine. Also, the AI controlled team would be rough getting used to again. If anyone would be down for a replay, let me know. I liked P3 and all, but it's one of those games that I don't think I'll ever want to replay. It just felt like too much work sometimes :D |

Yeah, I was playing pretty decent. Oh well, I have internet problems once in a while too. Sorry I didn't hit you back before you signed off, I was in the middle of another intense match where I was playing pretty well, so I didn't have time to check your message or write anything back. |

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Dissida: FF. Also bought Kindom Hearts, but I have yet to start it. I've always wanted to play it, so I'm really looking forward to starting it. |

baiz, KH is awesome!!!! PLAY IT! I can't wait for them to come out with one on the PS3, hopefully it's better than the second one though, God that one got annoying after a while. The 1st is definitely an awesome game though. |

I just got my copy of Persona PSP in the mail today, so I started playing this afternoon. So far, I must say that I like it much better than the sloppy PS1 version localization in all way except one. The music is not the same and I think it's changed for the worse. Unlike the apocalyptic feel of the music from older SMT games, this remake has seen a shift to the more upbeat style found in the newer Persona games. I suppose that it's technically ok, but I don't like listening to songs with lyrics while I'm trying to read what various NPCs are saying because it gives me a headache. It's a small thing and my only complaint so far though; everything else has been greatly improved. The menus, speed, graphics, CG, character names (no longer bastardized English names for everything, it's very much kept in Japan this time) load times and such are now so much better than before. This is mostly due to the power of the PSP in comparison to the PS1 of course, but I think these improvements will be exactly what I need to actually finish the game this time. Is anyone else going to get this game? |

I got it and started playing it yesterday. It's definitely gonna take some getting used to, since I started with the newer games. I don't like the first person view when walking around, and the battle system while not bad is going to take some getting used to as well. The story really hasn't grabbed me yet, but then again I'm not even out of the hospital yet, so... And I personally love the music. It's very P3-esque, which I liked much better than P4. If he keeps it up, Shoji Meguro may very well earn a spot with my favorite video game composers of all time. Edited by Weidleface, Sep 29 2009, 06:58 AM.
