Inbetween the slowness of it and the yelling the name every time they attack this game didn't last for longer than a couple hours before I was so done with it.

So I am gonna play the new Prince of Persia game tonight. The one that is based on the movie I am guessing. Just as long as it doesn't involve collecting seeds and some gymnast girl we'll be just fine. having trouble getting into RDR. Great game and all I'm just burnt out on open world games right now.

TFM- Is Strange Journey pretty straightforward or is it a game you'll need a FAQ for? I'm thinking about picking it up for a vacation I'm going on in a couple weeks since I'll have a lot of time to spend with my DS, but I won't have access to the internet. And nothing would suck more than to get stumped somewhere and not be able to progress for the rest of the week.

I haven't needed a faq for anything yet. There is nothing that will stump you so much that a little more time exploration and brain power couldn't handle. In the game, there are a few situations where you'll have to answer questions, to determine your alignment and such, but you don't need a faq for that, just be honest and answer the way you really think and it will all be fine.

since I don't have super mario galaxy 2, I decide to collect the rest of the stars from the first one, I found out that I only have 68 stars, so I got 10 more today :)

I'm a good chunk into Ch. 2 of Disgaea 3. It's pretty much Disgaea. These games are all pretty ridiculously similar. The dialogue is pretty amusing, but it's a little too chatty (I spend more time in cutscenes than battles, I feel like) for its own good. I think the high point was when Sarah came in the room and got confused at why the PS3 was on when I was very obviously playing what looked like a Virtual Console title.

"We need to find the traitor in our midst and rescue our allies!" "No, fock that. This random little girl who doesn't even have a name has a flower that's DYING. It needs the special water that can only be obtained by going through that dungeon there!" "Well, why didn't you say so? Onward!" -From the annals of the eternal sonata.

Blitz, please tell me that the game this reminds you of that we both enjoyed wasn't Star Ocean 3. Cause I hated Star Ocean 3. And I'm willing to bet pennies to peanuts the final boss will be a top hatted fellow. :D

I know, the end is predictable. It's still fun though, I loved the gameplay. I can't say the story was amazing, but it got better as it went on, until the end.

Gotta love that Disgaea BS. "Not allowed to progress with the story until you level something in the item world!" Just because a character calls you out on the BS doesn't make it any less so. Especially when goddamned level 8 has a mob on the gate who dodges EVERY GODDAMNED ATTACK. And I watch my whole party die a slow painful death.

In my Disgaea experience, the only time anyone has ever dodged my attack is when my stats are way lower than theirs. I certainly don't remember having dodging issues at all in the game. But then again, Disgaea 3 sucks, so I have no interest in defending it.

I am 48 hours into Strange Journey. I hope to make a good bit more progress this weekend, but the World Cup has started, so that will surely eat up some of the time I could be playing. The game is still fun and all, but just moving at a snail's pace.

Got a trophy in Disgaea 3! :yay: I had fully expected that when I finished this one my percentage would still be at 0%.

You know, honestly, I actually think this may be my favourite Disgaea so far. The whole honor student/delinquent thing amuses me. Plus, any game that makes fun of gamers this much is a-OK with me. :D

Piece of advice for anyone who plays Muramasa: The arrows show you the direction the gate you need is, not the direction you need to go. I spent 30 mins last night lost and frustrated because the arrows kept leading me back to the same screen where the exit was above me on the map and I couldn't figure out what I needed to do. I needed to ignore the arrows and go left, up and back around.
