Mirror's Edge is giving me motion sickness :ack:

I'm still not used to the controls yet and everytime I press on R1 by accident (fast 180 degree), it makes me want to throw up.

Just watching gameplay footage was enough to give me motion sickness.

Last area of R&C I think. I got Clank, and heading back to Nefarious Space Station again. Did all space missions, got all Zoni.... only need 1 more Gold Bolt (I think...). Only have a handful of skill points left to achieve (hydratank wrench only, Final Round in Raritanium Tourney untouched, last puzzle in Great Clock under 40 seconds, and a couple odds/ends points).

Probably going to plat it, still working on the Blaster Runs Hot game, but only a few tries at a time.

Got to the new part of the city. And what awaits? Another sewer mission. What a shock. (Badump splash! :D ) Also, what school of bad guy dumbassery did these guys go to where they thought the standing in water to fight the guy with electricity powers was the best approach?

Yeah, this game sucks. Well, not sucks, it's decently done, I just don't like it at all. I don't care for the combat or the controls. The story does nothing for me. And I really dislike these characters. And who on Earth voice cast Cole? Man, what a pisspoor decision.

But yeah, the missions are what kills this for me: sewer, sewer, transport, sewer, hunt down 8 things, guardian, sewer, defeat all enemies in an area. I don't think I've had a single mission so far that I've thought was cool. The "shoot down 8 planes around the city and then find them before they explode" mission is what made me turn off the PS3 in annoyance. I don't even have to start it to know it sucks. And that right after that awful bridge guardian mission and the annoying save obnoxious roommate maze. It'd also help if I felt like any of these missions served any purpose but to waste time until the end of the game.

I just hated climbing the buildings. Give me Alex over Cole anyday. At least Alex knows how to scale a building properly.

Cole also runs like a putz. At least he's speedy, though.

I thought all of Cole's moves made him look like a putz. Especially when he is firing lightning. So gay.

My favourite move is the stop running move. Dunno why they animated him into that corny stance.

Finished R&C.... only things left to do is finish playing through on Challenge Mode, and get the Blaster Runs Hot trophy. When I started Challenge Mode, I went into options and changed to Hard Difficulty right away, so hopefully that will clear up those trophies for me.

Also, nate... what did you think about the Insomniac Museum? It is by far the best of them all, AND probably the coolest post-game activity I have done in any game (for bonus stuff, not extra dungeons). The hoverboot tracks were fun, and all the stuff they weren't able to put into the game was pretty neat. The moons with multiple teleport paths and the floors you have to time-bomb to walk across were both pretty annoying, so I am glad that those were left out.

I couldn't help but laugh at the HR room being completely empty... and the Agorian warriors you can dress for battle and send them on their way. A lot of fun stuff.

PS - The RYNO V is so BAMF it is not even funny. I love that thing. I bust out laughing after I first used it.

It didn't do anything for me. It was okay, but I was more effective with saw blades, honestly. And not to burst your bubble, but I don't think you can combine challenge mode and hard mode. You should check into that to make sure of how it works.

Bubble wasn't bursted. I had that feeling, but am trying it anyways just in case. If I need to play through it a third time, then I will.... but probably not right away lol.

My god, this really has the absolute worst missions ever. Every single one makes me want to trade it in because they're such a freaking hassle. It's like they took their mission objectives from 10 years ago. This is atrocious. Also, it's pretty obvious these guys did Sly 2 and 3 since those games had the same crappy structure. Only this game has none of that charm. Cannot wait for this to be over. It's a well done game if you like this type of game, but I do not. I like the city design and that's about it. If I wasn't decently close to the end, it would be on a GS shelf right now.
