First time I've ever gotten RYNO. Not that exciting. I have so many bolts, it's not funny. 1,000,000 is a really low number. I got it before the game end and already have another half million. All I've got left are a chunk of gold bolts in clock, challenge mode and that stupid bloody minigame. After I finish the clock, I'm gonna have to make some decisions. :( |

Yup, this game can go screw itself. I'm done. 2 goddamned seconds too slow on this challenge puzzle. After an hour. No way in hell am I redoing everything to try and shave those off. I evaporate inches away from the bloody gold bolt. So yeah, I am completely over this game. Some games like Heavy Rain benefit from trophies. This, on the other hand, was absolutely ruined by them. Turns out there is a reason I've always played these games straight through. Between this recent annoyance, the minigame trophy, the godawful outer space missions prior to the laser (if they sucked in Going Commando, they suck in here) and the sheer fact I've played this game over and over and over under different names 7 times in like 3 years, this has been a really crappy experience. Which is a shame because it started with such a cool sequence, the Clank sections were a lot of fun (until now, but that's mostly because my patience with this one is FRIED) and it had an excellent story. I really, really wish there was a way to disable trophies because my curiousity and the fact I have a hard time backing down from a challenge are really ruining things for me. It seemed like such a fun and easy Platinum. It'd probably still be relatively easy to Platinum, but good God, it's making me absolutely miserable. I'm gonna start calling that "Fallout 3 syndrome" when I want to quit, when I'm absolutely miserable, annoyed and over the bloody game, but the accessibility of the trophies won't let me. The 3 days I spent addicted to Fallout 3, playing like 8-10 hours a day even though I hated the game were absolutely AWFUL and I'm getting definite flashbacks. Which sucks because if I hadn't been dragged into this trophy nonsense and just played the game my way, I would've absolutely adored it. |

My Blaster Runs Hot was such a pain trophy. The game is fine, but has a high learning curve. |

ya, just think of other games you can play instead of hunting the rest of the "crappy trophies", it will make you feel better. That's how I got over Tales of Vesperia achievements. |

It's just really, really tough for me not to get a trophy when I know I have the ability to. It makes me feel like I'm not finishing the game. It's less a 100% thing and more a "complete all the challenges I can" one. |

I was just going to tell you I tried it less than a handful of times last night... and the last time did me in because I was in the same situation as you... I had 7500 points with all lives to spare and died all of those times in about 20 seconds. Finished Lord Vorselon's ship... pissed I missed the Holo-Plan. The guide said "it is virtually impossible to miss it, it is right in the middle of a hall you walk through." Guess what, I F@CKING MISSED IT!!!!!! |

PS - RYNO is sick. Can't believe you never got it in the first one. Took me FOREVER to get it, but it was by far the sickest of them all. So sweet. |

Started inFamous. VERY mixed feelings so far. Lots of sewars. Lots of the same guy sniping me from rooftops. I don't particularly enjoy the controls either. Gameplay's very GTA meets Prince of Persia and the story's No Man's Land as seen by Grant Morrison. Hallucinogenic sludge? I don't dislike it, but I'm kind of on the edge. We'll see what pushes me one way or another. I'm not bothering with trophies, though. It's part of my new "Fock trophies, they ruined one game for me, no more!" initiative. :D |

Yeah, I'll check the lists and do some that seem fun, but I'm not letting them dictate any more playthroughs for me. It's not telling me what difficulty, what karma, what I do, what order I do it in, etc and so forth. If there's a fun challenge, sure, but other than that? No more, I say! |

it gets more fun as you gain more powers, the story is not bad actually. The trophies are pretty annoying though with the 100% blast shards one. |

I had nothing to play so I just randomly popped in Oblivion. I have the GotY version but I've never touched the expansion packs that are included with it so I might check those out. I want to actually beat the game this time too but I doubt it'll happen. I started playing and it was so hard to stop! I found a way to beat Umbra on my last playthrough and I'm really tempted to do it again but it might make the game waaay too easy with her weapons at such a low level |
