It did for a lot of games, but some games like this and MGS4 didn't bother.

Speaking of MGS4, I love that they give you a health warning about sitting too close to the TV while Snake lights up a cigarette.

I spent more time in Eternal Sonata then I wanted to and finished it under 30, so you won't be putting in any more time, like GLS said.

Yeah, I don't so much care about the trophies. It was fun to mess with Rag for a while and they're cool to challenge myself with in the game, but if they're not in something, it's not gonna faze me. ;)
I didn't realize it doesn't even have trophies. Sony really needs to implement Trophy BC.
It is up to the developer to offer a patch for trophy support.

Wipeout HD is only $10 right now. I think I may pick this one up. I've heard good things about it.

For real. I didn't spend any real extra time on it, but I didn't rush it by any means. I just went with the flow of the game, and it was definitely right around there.

I'm 2 1/2 hours in and enjoying it. I just hit a weird interlude where we got all photo slideshow Wikipedia summary. It was kind of out of place. Anyway, adding in the nuance with building up points for Sp Atk power really tweaked the battle system nicely. I've been fighting every enemy I come acorss to make sure I'm adequately leveled.

You may have to slow down once or twice to level, but just fighting as you go along generally keeps you well off. There's a particular "dungeon," or I guess area that is a real pain because of status effects that I just said, "eff this, I'm running through this no fights," and I still didn't have any issues closing it out.

And yeah, the Wikipedia Chopin music interludes are weird...but they'll show up at the end of every chapter. The music is nice (but you already have the uber collection), and the information is nice (if you want to film a Chopin biopic), but the photos aren't even that nice, I don't think, so you can skip them and chop some fat off of the time.

What really makes this game better than what it is is how the battle system keeps adding "levels" to it. It's a fairly complicated system, but the step by step additions keep it fresh, but keep it from being overwhelming.

Wipeout HD is hard as balls (but also absolutely awesome). I need a mode easier than Novice. I cannot for the life of me beat the Chenghou Project race in the Warped event (or gold medal the single race in Uplift).I don't need to do either since I've unlocked the Frenzy event already, but dammit, everything else has a gold medal next to it. :(

Good grief. Sebenco Climb may be one of the absolute hardest levels I've ever played in a game. And I'm on easy mode. Luckily, it seems this is by far the trickiest track. I've been chipping away at it for like an hour now. 4 seconds is the difference between first and last place.

It's absolutely awesome. Way out of my league, but you don't need to beat everything to unlock the next event (which is great). I like it better than Mario Kart, honestly. This is probably my favourite racer.

I've been playing on elite mode but I think I might have to lower the difficulty because I just played a stage on warped 50+ times trying to get the gold and it seems kind of impossible, I think the game wants you to unlock the better vehicle brands before you play on elite because I raced perfectly but only managed silver a couple of times. But I like how losing doesn't totally suck in this game since you get loyalty points even when you lose so I racked up tons of points for my vehicle/car/spaceship/thing

I also would like more acid-trip stages like the zones stage on uplift. That looked so cool.

I'm really fed the $^&% up with Sebenco Climb. It's pretty obvious the game is stacked against you. The rest of the game is hard, but it's your fault if you lose. Here, it's just bull. There is no way these racers should be taking these turns like they do. They use no brakes and don't even go to the outside. On top of that, I finally was in a position to place (in first, no less) when I was leech beamed, swerved into a bomb and then hit by a missile within sight of the finish line. That's exactly the crap that made me HATE Mario Kart.

I really, really loved this game, but this track is making me absolutely detest it. And now I'm just in a foul mood for the rest of the night. Thanks Wipeout.

Yeah, that was the hardest stage by far. The boost pads are easy to miss and there aren't many straight-aways. What I did was try to get a speed boost power-up, and save it for when you are about to exit the dark tunnel. Use it after the last boost pad in the tunnel and you'll literally fly right over that curvy path and move up a bunch of positions (sometimes right to first place) and you'll get a good barrel roll boost too. Using the auto-pilot power up for those tough turns helped too.
