I am still slowly playing Ni No Kuni. I started to lose interest in this game for a while, but now that Hamelin is finally over my desire to play this game is returning a bit. I mean, I love the graphics (the game is gorgeous), the imagination and such, but parts of this story are dragging on much too long. I've complained about how it often seems as though the game is making it up as it goes along. Also, there is FAR too much hand-holding, ugh!

My last complaint so far is that the game is just so slow paced, it's as if they threw every RPG game mechanic idea ever into this game for fear of not being that almighty savior of a JRPG that everyone was hoping for. Monster collecting and leveling, hunts, alchemy, all a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. Sure, I'm doing it all, but it's a waste of time just the same. The worst however is the side missions (story missions too) of taking and giving heart... What a pointless waste of time that is, this whole broken-hearted idea. This guy is too broken-hearted to do his job, he lacks enthusiasm, which as it just so happens can be borrowed from the this other guy standing just down the street, he has too much! LAME.

I can tell you right now that my final thoughts on this game will not be too kind. It's a shame too, as I was so looking forward to this game being excellent.

I've played worse Kknd. As far as the game being way too slow paced, this ranks right up there with Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. What the game does right, it does very well. There is just no denying that this game lacks excitement though. I'd kind of rather watch the movie than play the game, if you know what I mean.

I finished Gears of War 2. I was kind of lost at multiple points because I do not remember the first game at all. I didn't know characters or things tehy were referencing that I assumed were from teh first game. I, also, what happened to that Niles guy and the Queen. What was that Niles guy up to anyway? The game just kind of forgot about him

I don't remember anything about the Gears games at all. I don't think it's my fault though, as it's hard to remember the intricate plot details and character relationships when it's all just being shouted in battle. They could have been telling me who killed JFK, but I wouldn't have heard it when I'm so focused on shooting aliens and not dying.

Alsol the characters are not well developed at all. Cliffy B has a lot to learn about telling a story.

EDIT: I am playing Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. It is awesome

I am still playing Ni No Kuni. I haven't been playing much though, as I've been riding my bike so much. It is safe to say that I have a new favorite hobby at this point, when it is taking up most of my free time. Between riding my bike, watching a movie or two, or NBC on Thursday night, or a soccer game, there isn't a whole lot of time for video games anymore.

Today is a free day though as I'm not riding my bike, so Ni No Kuni is my #1 priority.

finally bought pushmo, the game is good so far, but a bit too easy IMO, the diff lvl starts to pick up at around lvl 120 but still kind of easy.

also got around to play Metal Gear Rising, the game is great but really too short IMO, I'm also done with the game from what my friend told me and I'm like 3h in :/

I gave up on Ni No Kuni. I don't have much time to play games anymore, but when I do, I was just not feeling this one. This is the first game I've quit in three years. I have decided to move on to playing Soul Hackers on the 3DS instead. I may go back and finish NNK at some point though.

I don't know why I never finished this game, but I'm playing Fatal Frame and having a blast right now... I think I'm starting to get in the mood for survival horror :P

Playing the evil within, Mikami is did a great job keeping the tension up throughout the game, I think I'm about 70% done. The game is just hard enough to keep you on the edge of your seat without being too frustrating.
