How much exploring are you doing? It isn't a short game on your first time through
I'm exploring everything. I love exploration in games, so I seek out the the dark corners of every dungeon. I could just keep going to the next level of a dungeon as soon as I stumble across it, but I like to explore too much. I imagine that any future games on a higher difficulty would be completed much faster due to knowing where everything is, etc... I don't think I'll be playing this game again any time soon though. At this point, my goal is to play as much of this game as possible and finish before Lollipop Chainsaw is released.
Well, there you go. If you explore every bit and every extra dungeon in Diablo 2, it takes a lot longer than just running straight through. The game is a hell of a lot of fun and offers up a ton of replay value, though. Randomly generated dungeons and 7 character classes with 3 skill trees a piece make sure of this

Yeah. If you start a new game with a new character, it will generate it all in a different way.

That being said, if you backtrack with your current character, it will all be the same. It generates a world for every single player character

I can now understand why people played this game so much then. I can't say that I'd want to play this game that much though. :XD:

The only character that I didn't master more than one style of was the Assassin. I always sucked with her.

I'm already sick of Diablo 3 (halfway through Hell Mode). Granted I haven't been doing multiplayer and I've only been playing one class, but still.....I'm not sure I understand the "replay value" if the only thing that changes is very minute incremental changes to loot stats. So far all of the loot I've gotten has been pretty much garbage. My guess is this is deliberate to encourage sales in the real money auction house (that has yet to go live as of right now). People will be so desperate for good equipment they'll be more willing to part with real cash to get it.

Every character has their own randomly generated world. You have multiple character classes and multiple ways to play each class. You can play co op online and do pvp. IT all adds up to Diablo having more replayvalue than just about anything else on the planet

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One

This game is so much mindless fun that it's unreal. I've never played an R&C game until now, but this game has almost completely sold me on getting the HD bundle that comes out later this year. If anyone wants some co-op, let me know!

So I am halfway through Act IV of Diablo 2. I wonder how much longer this game will last? I hope that I can finish before Lollipop Chainsaw is released. This game is fun, but the challenge has started to vanish a little bit. I've got some killer equipment and my paladin is just wrecking everything. I use the Zeal skill the most, and I have a weapon that does heavy damage, while also giving a +2 to the Zeal skill. My sheild is the hero though, with a 50% chance of open wounds, using Zeal means that nearly every enemy I attack will die of blood loss. My enemies are taking damage even when they aren't being hit, it's awesome! I've been using this same weapon and sheild combination for at least the past eight levels, and nothing I've picked up since has come close to being worthy of replacing this equipment.
