No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
Now that Divinity 2 is finished up, I've gone back to try and finish some other games up before Mass Effect drops.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic (not as bad as it gets hated on for)
Call of Duty 2 (the hardest most frustrating game I've ever played)

I also downloaded Trivial Pursuit to play against my wife. She just beat me in a game before I came to post this.

I am KILLING this Pokedex thing.

I've been all over the GTS like it's my job, and I'm playing through Emerald to pick up some more pokemon I'm missing. The only ones that are killing me right now are ones like Celebi, Jirachi, and Manaphy. I'm convinced that once HG releases I WILL have a complete Pokedex. I'm at around 403 seen and in the 380-390 range caught, I believe.

Wow Kknd, you're really rolling on those Ys games! As for me, I don't know what the heck I'm doing right now. I started playing Symphonia again as you all know, but I've seem to have lost interest again, due to Modern Warfare 2. I only started playing MW2 again because a I saw a coworker online playing, now I'm hooked.

Ugh... I don't even know if I'm going to keep going with Symphonia anymore at this point. With so many awesome games coming in a couple of weeks, I don't even know if I'd have time to finish. I also wanted to play No More Heroes again before the sequel releases, so that the story (which I have pretty much memorized at this point) will be fresh in my memory once again.

What to do, what to do..? I don't want to start out the year like this, so I guess I'll start playing Symphonia again this afternoon; so long as MW2 doesn't beckon to me with offerings of headshots and good sniping. :lol2:

I'm pretty sure this is gonna be my absolute last Mario RPG. It's an absolute chore to play since I never have any desire to continue onward (and why would I, I've played this game 5 times already under different names) and the constant minigames are starting to really get under my skin. Plus, it occurs to me that I really hate the Mario RPG battle system. Always have, always will. It's so gimmicky. It made things feel fresh in the very first game I played, but really, it just makes battles that much more of a chore past that. That's probably why I loathed Partners in Time. Only 6-8 more hours to go in this one it looks like (UGH!). It's tough though because this is a REALLY well done game. It's extremely well done. I'm just having absolutely no fun with it at this point.

God knows what difference there is that made me enjoy Paper Mario so much a few months ago.

Let me clarify my issue with minigames: A. They suck normally. B. When they're DS specific, make sure the %^&#ing work! When I'm blowing til I'm blue in the face and you're not registering anything's happening and cause me to lose a 10 goddamn minute battle because of it, there's some serious bull%#^$ going on. And here I was just thinking maybe I was too harsh on the game (because the graphics are so pretty and dialogue so charming). :x

Beat Mario and Luigi 3. Overall, really good game from an objective standpoint. From a personal one, my enjoyment had a lot of ups and downs. Part of that might've been stress over all the games flooding over me right now, so I may have been a little grouchy with it. I really liked the way they depicted the interactions between Bowser and his minions. Lots of smiles from this one. :D

Anyway, Sarah gave me Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for my birthday on the PS3. MAN, that camera is HIGH. You'd think brightly colored superheroes would be easy to distinguish from robots, but you'd be wrong. Especially with as many enemies are swarming everywhere. I'm playing it on hard mode too. I think this may be the first time I've played a game on hard. It's kind of scary. Overall impressions is that it's a lot of shallow fun, but I'm confused as hell by all the levels and unlockables and certificates and medals and gauges and buttons. Basically, everything in the game that isn't pick Mr. Fantastic and charge in swinging away or linking up with Daredevil to smack down everything in sight.

I started playing XIII today (Xbox game) and it's really good. I have no idea why this is a game I quit playing so long ago, and I've already made it past the point where I stopped previously. A quick check on GFs shows me that I am more than 1/3 of the way through the game already, so this one might be finished tomorrow at the rate I'm playing.

It's not a tactics game, really. And yes, a million times yes. It's a turn based action FPS for lack of a better term. Your teams take turns like in Fire Emblem or Advance Wars, you freely move in real time with X amount of steps to use and enemies react to you. You select attack and move into a first person move and you and your enemy take turns attacking. It's actually a really, really smooth system. Plus, the music, graphics, characters and story are fantastic. ;)
