I'm grossly overleveled in FFXIII-2 right now. For anyone playing, my first trip to the Archlyte Steppe in episode 3 I got 10 fragments, and 30,000 CP from both Ochu and that lightning war weapon to total 60,000 CP and advance me a few more stages in the Crystarium. Just finished Academia 400 AF, got all fragments and gates unlocked in Yaschas Massif 100 AF, and recruited a bunker beast before calling it a night (yeah, put in 8-9 hours yesterday). Lastly, I am deciding to have an all Chocobo party so I'll be working on recruiting a Green Chocobo as well before I move onto Sunleth 400 AF for more easy fragments. Total 61/160 right now, and just annihilated all enemies in the Academia story for easy CP (though, it's not really adding up that fast when I need 30,000+ CP for the next stage lol). |

BTW, those hands of time puzzles? RETARDED. So, I searched the internet and found this, because I was stuck on a stage 4 anomaly for over 30 minutes in Yaschs Massif 100 AF. http://nyusuke.com/game/ff13/ff13-2puzzle.html |

This is better because of those pesky 13 digit clock puzzles and it has a mobile version. http://clockpuzzle.pl/ Edited by DarkCloudLives, Feb 26 2012, 01:12 PM.

I played a little bit of Shinobi on the 3DS this weekend. This game is old-school tough, but I am enjoying the challenge, even if I am only playing on the normal difficulty level. It plays like an updated Genesis game, but with better graphics and smooth animations. This game has hidden achievements that can unlock cheats and other bonuses. Also, the controls can be changed to better suit the way you want to play, like how I moved the parry action to the left shoulder button. I think this game is pretty cool so far. I'll update with more opinions as I continue to play. |

grinding in Contra 4, the game is IMO MUCH harder than all other games in the series. Insane! :o I can get till level 5 boss now, which is not bad I guess... Edited by kknd, Feb 26 2012, 11:04 PM.

I managed to finish that Contra game a couple years ago, but don't remember too much about it now. |

The link I posted has 0-12 inputs (included 0 makes 13) so it works the same. I don't need the mobile version, and I really like that the one I found (in a completely different language lol) has the order in which to complete them numerically. The arrows are too much for me, though the one you have is much nicer in design lol. Both do the same job, but yeah thank God for these otherwise you guys would be reading my obituary. |

I started Resistance 3, and it is awesome. I am loving it. Graphically, it is a big improvement over two. I am glad that they went back to the weapon wheel over the two weapon system, and I am glad they went back to the health pack system of the first game. You no longer heal just by hiding in cover. The battle are still just as intense as the second game, and I love how this series is capable of giving a more human element to this genre The story is interesting, as well. Loving it. |

Ok, so last night I played for a while AND: -Maxed out Silver Chocobo, and infused it with certain monsters so it has good traits for racing in Serendipity -Almost maxed out Green Chocobo (think it's on 96) -Did some races in Serendipity, purchased Noel's Odin weapon, and won the best prizes in about 11 races from the different race classes (weapons for Serah and Noel, Collector's Catalog, and I think one other notable I can't think of) Also, I tried my hand at both Long Gui and Yomi (Yomi, again actually). Yomi is a real bitch because you cannot stagger him. I can get him down to 1/3 HP but then I end up dying from constant wounds, can't heal to max HP and then he finishes me off with one of his annoying moves while he had bravery/faith enabled. It sucks because I have to rely on Serah/Noel to inflict Deshell/Imperil/Poison every time he comes out of Impenetrable Aura, while healing and by the time he goes back in, my guys didn't even cast poison. When I am lucky enough to stick it on him I just use Aggression (COM COM RAV) to take off what I can but I should really just max out my characters first. I know I can beat him now, but I tried 3 times last night and it'll be easier if I wait. Long Gui is another story. He is SO easy but there is one reason I can't beat him right now, and it's timing. Basically once you take out his left and right leg, he falls to the ground. At this point you have to inflict Deprotect/Deshell/Imperil/Poison and stagger him. This is all easy because he is doing nothing. But during the stagger, you have to deplete all of his HP and finish it otherwise when he stands back up it's basically really hard to win because he uses Roar and your characters can't do anything except use items and he does it a couple times. Anyways, I have the right weapons to increase Serah's strength as a Commando so I may try my hand at this again - as long as I take him out for the first stagger then he is CAKE. Still need to finish up Oerba 300 AF and 400 AF. Currently 97/160 fragments. |

I am rage quitting Shinobi for a while. I've been stuck on the same level for three days and the fun is gone. Over time I improve the way I'm able to handle certain sections, but after making to the boss and losing three times, I've just had enough of this game for now. I'll go back and finish this game soon enough, but in the meanwhile, I want to try and get back to a place where I was finishing at least one game/week. |

You have Serah as a commando and not a ravager? |

Just for that fight... I found it's better to use Serah as a COM against him and attack him physically than it is to use magic. And, since I don't have my Red Chocobo leveled I don't have a third COM so can't use the Cerberus Paradigm like I would (COM COM COM). So, that's why Serah is a COM for just that paradigm. Otherwise, she is a BEAST ravager, and she is always that in Relentless Assault. |

I almost always had Noel as a Com and Serah as a Ravager. In fact, I hardly every took Noel out of the Com role unless he needed to Sen or Sab. Serah would always have Rav, Sen, Med or Syn. My monster would normally be Gold, silver or normal Chocobo.
