I played Bit.Trip Complete (Wii) for a while today. This game is cool! If you like old-school challenge and believe that gameplay is what makes a great game, not graphics, then this might be a game you'll want to check out.

There are six different games on the disk, of which Beat, Runner and Void are my favorites. Each game has a simple and unique gameplay mechanic, but the difficulty ramps up quickly and it becomes a struggle just to survive, much less try to get a good high score. Core is especially difficult for me, but perhaps I'll get better with practice. As the game falls into the music/arcade genre this game sounds nice as well. The better you play, the more the game comes to life both visually and musically.

I got back to God of War 3. I decided I wanted to finish it before I go on with Skyrim. I just killed Hermes and got his boots.

Started playing Kirby's Epic Yarn this weekend. This game is so cute, like it's made of happiness and good vibes. However, the game is also tragically easy. It is impossible to die and the pacing is very slow. Anyone looking for a challenge will be disappointed, but those looking for a relaxing Wii game to put a smile on their face will be satisfied.

The only irritating thing is that some stages have points of no return, meaning that if a collectable patch or item is missed the stage will have to be played all over again (or restarted) in order to go back and get that item. This is a minor gripe though and the stages are short and fun enough that it doesn't feel like much of a chore.

this game is too easy and the collectibles are too annoying to get, I rushed through it.

You kill Hercules in GoW? Why? Doesn't he oppose the rule of the Gods?

Because he tried to kill me. Remember that God of War kind of takes the Greek mythology and does it's own thing with it.

5 dead gods, 1 demigod and 2 titans. I am in the Caverns now. This is, without a doubt, the longest game in the series. I am at 12 hours, and it feels like it should be over by now. God of War 1, 2 and Chains of Olympus all were over by this point. The puzzle in Hera's garden was really cool.

I am 3 missions into Medal of Honor 2010. People seem to call this just an average game. I cannot help but wonder if that is because it is a slower pace than Call of Duty and is more realistic? Granted the graphics are not Uncharted 3 quality, the enemy AI is not that great (neither is the AI in Call of Duty) and it froze on me once, but I have enjoyed it so far. I really like that third mission. It had you watching enemy movement closely so that you could slip by them unnoticed. That was cool.

Everything, everything, EVERYTHING!
Playing the original Crysis on Xbox 360. Granted, the graphics are not up to PC standards at all, but it's still a great game. It's funny because I'm not sure which one I like better between Crysis 1 and 2. The second one has so much polish, but it's very streamlined in a way. The first is kind of a mess, but gave you a lot more freedom.

I decided to started Medal of Honor Frontline. It is a very old school shooter, but I kind of like that about it. IT feels refreshing because I have not played a shooter like it in some time

I started playing another Kirby game yesterday, Kirby Mass Attack. I am only a couple of levels into the first world, but I can already tell that this game is going to be tough. The gameplay is centered around controlling a bunch of Kirbys (up to 10) and having them gang up on enemies and obstacles. In order to get a gold medal on a stage it has to be completed with all medals collected and with none of the Kirbys taking any damage at all, so that's going to be really hard.

The game seems fun though and it once again uses the stylus 100% for control. I am going to try not to ruin my new DSiXL's screen with this very first game being played on it. :lol2: I haven't scratched any of my past DS's screens at all though, not even while playing Big Bang Mini, so it should be fine.
