Yeah, this game I'm getting the bad ending so I decided it would also be my "evil" play through.......I've been killing.......a loooooot of NPCs......lol

You should go to the last area Kiln..or whatever it's called. The Black Knights there all drop ores. Chunks mostly I think. Don't worry about triggering anything, you have to walk through a fog gate at the end of the area to start the boss fight ...as usual.

At the final boss and getting THWOMPED! This guy is way too fast and I can't find the space to heal.

Ok. So I can parry his attacks! Unfortunately, just when I get him down to where one more parry/riposte will end him...

I honestly cannot remember the last time I got so upset at and frustrated with a game.

I did it! :yay:

It turns out, that once I rethought my equipment choices, the fight was made a whole lot easier somehow.

So now it is on to NG+, but not yet. I think I am going to take a break for a little while. I'll come back to this game later though, once some of the patches have been worked out. What a great game! Best game I've played since Demon's Souls!

p.s. One thing that does suck is that the Chaos Ember was somehow lost. I know for a fact that I grabbed this ember from that corpse on the lava, but when I sent to see the blacksmith, it was not in my inventory to give him. When I grabbed it, I didn't know about the Orange Charred Ring at that time, so I simply made a mad dash, got the item and died. I went back to double check that the item wasn't still on the corpse and it wasn't, so I don't know what happened. It is a tad bit disappointing, but I'll just have to make sure to grab it on NG+ is all.

Congrats!

Yeah I had trouble with him too. I ended up taking advantage of the pillars....always tried to keep a pillar between him and myself at all times. I tried parrying some too, but I've never been good at that even at the best of times.

I tried that too, but once he would make it past the pillar, I was screwed.

I must say that I am proud of the way that I played this game. I didn't use any pyro, miracles or sorcery at all. I also never summoned any phantoms to help. Everything I did in this game was on my own using melee combat and the occasional bow or throwing knives.

p.s. I forgot to mention that I did try the Darkmoon covenant. It wasn't working very well though because I was only able to invade twice in about a half hour. I took on Gwyndolin and that was an interesting battle. The only bad part is having to run from the dead bonfire, through the rafters, raising and lowering the stairs in order to get back and try again. Still, I think that this is worth doing in this game.

Dead Space 2 is pretty awesome. I am on chapter 8 right now and am really enjoying it. I can tell it learned a few tricks from FEAR, which is cool. FEAR was scary as hell

It turns out that I haven't been upgrading my pistol like I should have, the game becomes super easy once I figured that out :P

anyways, playing picross 3D a lot recently, the game is really fun (more than I thought), I would recommend this since it's like 20$. My friend bought it for me for 10$ :o

Soma Bringer is getting kind of boring now that I'm halfway through, it sucks when nothing special happens in a RPG.

I am back in Texas right now. I forgot my Sixaxis controller. I just have an off brand thing. That is fine, but it lacks the sixaxis functionality for some reason. I was playing Dead Space Extraction last night, and I had no choice but to wait and die every time I was promted to shake one of the enemies off of me. IT was very frustrating. Then the game glitched in a section where I was going through the air ducts.

Sunk some time into Fate Extra. The rock/paper/scissor battle system is eternally okay. Gaining an advantage is so heavily predicated on NPC interactions, however, that you can't afford to get lazy, but at least I like the attempt to make legitimate use of the Servant hero concepts. The pacing has been solid once you get past the humdrum prelude.

And as such, I learned the hard way that AKB1/48 has an autosave feature, but not an autosave feature. Does that make sense? Basically, it autosaves collection information, but doesn't autosave progress on a given run through. So I lost the progress on a 7/48 run. Bwah. Manual saves.

I beat another level in Dead Space Extraction, but it was such a pain in the ass that I am not going to bother playing it any further until I can get my hands on a standard PS3 controller. I played more God of War 3 instead
