Next NG+ I'll run at them nakies and see how it goes. Speed may be the key.

Hmmm...not too crazy about some of the stuff on the patch list, but I am glad Ring of Fog peeps can now be targeted. I always knew that would get patched or outright removed.....way too overpowered for PVP imo.

Did you do Dark Anor Londo? Did you attack Gwynevere?

No, I've never attacked her. No trophy for it so I didn't bother.

Did you get the ring that let you join the Darkmoon? If so, did you go beyond that fog gate?

I am thinking that the Darkmoon covenant sounds cool as heck, but that I'd prefer to wait until NG+ to join that. I am wondering if killing Gwynevere would have any impact on the story and the ending of the game. However, because I have been avoiding end game spoilers so well, I don't know that I'd want to know. I've heard there are two endings, but that all that matters for the good ending is that I gave the Lordvessel to Frampt, which I did. That's all I know.

Perhaps I shouldn't, but then again maybe I should... Maybe I'll join the Darkmoon covenant and then leave and do the Dark Anor Londo stuff too afterwards. I don't know.

Oh wait...I think I may be confused...which one is Gwynevere? She's the the giant woman with big boobs right? Princesses Guard Covenant? If so, no I didn't kill her (assuming you can, someone told me killing her removes the light from Anor Londo)

Yeah I joined the Covenant first game, but didn't do anything with it. Second game I went through the fog gate and killed her. Which is what I suggest doing first game....I believe you need her soul twice for rare weapons trophy.....which means I'll have to kill her on my New Game ++....which means I'll need to do a New Game +++ if I want to join that Covenant and do some invading.

I don't know anything about the Dark Lando stuff, as far as I know it just makes the place dark, which wasn't something I wanted to do since that's what most of the game already is. Anor was a refreshing change of pace.

Yeah there are two endings. I got the good one (Frampt) on my first playthrough and was kind of disappointed. Don't know what the bad ending is, but my room mate who watched me get the good ending got the bad ending on his and said the bad ending was much better.

Maybe I'll go kill her and see Dark Londo then, later, after I finish a couple of other things first. I still need to finish/go to...

Tomb of Giants, Izalith, New Londo Ruins, Archives, Crystal Cave, Kiln.

You may want to do Archives and Crystal Caves before you kill her. That area may also be effected by the darkness...which would really suck...especially the crystal cave.....

So I completed the Tomb of Giants this weekend. I had to leave and level up my Quelaag sword to +5, and that made all the difference in the world. I was able to take out the dogs in 3-4 hits depending on my humanity level. The boss wasn't so hard either and I managed to take him down on my second try.

Then it was on to the New Londo Ruins for a whole lotta ghost killing. Did you know that vendors will eventually run out of an item? It's true! That undead ghoul lady in the tunnel ran out of curses to sell me, so I had to spend about an hour farming ghosts with the gold ring equiped. I used my last curse to do a speed run and earn a couple more, and so on. The worst part is that between each try, the nearest bonfire was all the way back at Firelink.

Still, I managed to get through this area rather easily, with the exception of the boss fight. I tried several times to fight this boss like any other, taking my time, staying close and blocking a lot, but that is not how this fight is won. Nope! This fight is won by going in like a tank, in armor I couldn't hardly move in, two handing my sword with no care for blocking and just slashing away in my attempt to kill them before they killed me. I won by using this method on my first try.

Now it is back to the Archives.

Yeah some vendors only have a set amount of an item. Sucks.

Haha, Yeah I just did Iron Flesh for that one.

I am through 10 chapters of Dead Space. I was finally able to kill that guys 'creation.' It is about freaking time. I was tired of him sending the thing after me

So I defeated S. in the Crystal Caves today. This boss fight wasn't so tricky once I learned to back off a couple of times to avoid those floor spikes. I tried to get his tail a couple of times, but that's impossible because his tail attack is way too strong, so I gave up on that idea. I don't use any greatswords anyway, so it's no big loss.

Now I think there is nothing left but to wrap up some item buying stuff (I'm buying everything now so that I don't have to on NG+), joining some covenants (just to get rings and quit them), and finishing using the boss souls to make weapons. Then it's on to the end game. I might do Dark Anor Londo, but I still haven't decided yet. I also might try to mess around a bit as a Darkmoon first, but I'll figure that out tomorrow.

I am going to start Dead Space 2 later on. I am looking forward to it. I hope it is even better than the first one was. I am going to watch Dead Space Downfall first, though. I enjoy that movie, though it could have been a lot better from a story telling perspective. It basically solves the whole damned mystery of what is going on in the first 10 minutes of it. If movies like The Thing have taught us anything, it is a lot scarier when we do not know

I got cursed on my first attempt....really annoyed me because I didn't have any stones on me at the time. Had to back track to get some.

Overall he was easy, but I didn't get his tail either...plan to on this current playthrough though, whenever I start playing again.

Tonight I ran around tying up some loose ends. I had to farm for a while in order to get enough titanite to level up some weapons to be transformed with boss souls. I also joined and quit a couple of other covenants just to get their items. I was thinking about killing spider lady, but decided not to because I feel sorry for her. Yeah, I know it's silly.

Today, I'll go back to Anor Londo to upgrade those weapons. Then I'll mess around with the Darkmoons before turning Anor Londo dark. I should have this game finished by this weekend. I could have finished last night, but I have some things I want to set up for NG+ first.
