There's a bonfire on the floor level. In a tunnel. Also, there's access to another area on the floor level as well. .... Spoiler: click to toggle

Ooh. I climbed up that tree, but didn't know about the hidden wall. I saw a hint at the start of the root that said "hidden path", but I just assumed it was talking about the root itself. I'll have to be sure to run over there and check that out tomorrow then. Thanks! |

No prob! I just finished my first play through. 120+ hours. Some of that is the game idling while I did HW though, so a more accurate number for me would probably be 115 or so. Looking forward to getting all the stuff I missed on my first playthrough/getting the trophies for all spells/weapons/etc. Also need to plan out my Covenants better. Missed out on 3 my first playthrough. |

I FUCKING LOVE STEAMBOT CHRONICLES. Seriously, that game was just so damn campy and fun. The tease of a PS3 sequel is one thing that drove me to buy one. Instead, all we got was a crappy PSP spinoff. :x |

while I didn't like all the insane fetch quests, the game has its charm :), I would have loved more customization on the trotmobiles though. The chase sequence at the end was awesome. too bad the PSP sequel is not a real Steambot Chronicles game. It has a lot of potential. |

Whoa! 120 hours of DS already? I am only around 40 hours and in the mid-30 SL range. I tried fighting that spider boss tonight, even summoning Mildred the time that I could, but I lost. I tried another few times as well, but I still haven't figured this boss out yet, except that lightning seems to work really well. So, I've decided to do some other things in the meanwhile that might make the fight a bit easier. I've decided to try and go back to the Asylum, but fell through the floor and had the boss kill me. He has this same fire fog breath attack that the Quel... has, so despite my best efforts to stay behind him, it wasn't enough, as that hits me for heavy damage even when blocking. I'll fight him again tomorrow though. Also, I read that if I drop a cracked red eye orb into the small nest that I'll get two of those curse tablets that cost 6k each, so I did that, as they'll be handy later (I saw frogs again) while exploring that hidden area you pointed out to me last night from BT. |

Yeah, I was severely addicted the first week. Still am, but not quite as bad. Yeah, I just let Mildred distract her while I came from behind to attack. Yeah he can be a pain. Definitely have to be behind him the entire fight. He only gives like 10k souls too, though he does drop a Titanite Slab of which you'll need two to max out a weapon. Sad part is the only way to get them is 1 from this guy and the other from Lizard drops. So it's not guaranteed you'll be able to get 2 during your first play through. Yeah, if you keep going down you'll exit onto a beach where there's a hydra and if you keep running down the beach you'll find the Path of the Dragon Covenant if you're interested in that one. It's pretty cool, you get a Dragon Head Stone which turns your head into a dragons and allows you to breath fire.....if you are able to gather 30 Dragon Scales and offer them to him you'll get the Dragon Body Stone which turns the rest of you into a Dragonoid. I ended up abandoning the Covenant to do another one before I could get 30 Scales together though. |

Have you played the game before? If so, some people have mentioned that the enemies seem harder to kill, like they shake more; is this true? If not, have fun playing one of the best games ever! |

I was wondering, is leveling important in Demon's Souls? or is it normal that I get 1 hit KO by almost anything that the Tower Knight hits me with? |

No matter what level you are, getting hit will always hurt really bad lol. Rule of thumb for DemSouls is to avoid getting hit whenever possible. Stats can help with this, Dex, Stam, Str-----being able to dodge faster, swing your weapon faster, anything that will help you kill the enemy before he has a chance to hit you. Extreme high levels can probably soak up damage, but the level cap is 712, and I never even got close to that, so I can't say for sure. btw, Dark Souls is A LOT easier than Demon Souls, so if you have a tough time with Demon Souls, don't avoid Dark Souls because of it.
