I started tales of the tempest on DS, looks like a decent game so far, great music so far, but I've noticed that it takes more hits to kill monsters for some reason, maybe it's just me.

I also started playing Steambot Chronicles (finally!!... I have a lot of Atlus game that I bought and didn't play, it's time that I finish them all :D), pretty decent game so far.

Dark Souls is tough. I've run into a couple of enemies who have been able to kill me in a single hit, one of them, even while I was blocking and at full health! Twice, I have failed to reach my bloodstain in order to regain my souls lost. It's not a big deal, but it is frustrating.

Also, I was just invaded for the first time! And I won, against a much better equipped player and while still fighting off a couple of regular enemies as well. It was a tough fight, but I barely managed to squeak out the win.

This game is so much fun. I find myself yelling at the TV quite often, as if that will help me to stay alive. Still, I laugh when I die most of the time. It is important to not let these deaths get to you, no matter how frustrating the circumstances.

You are like the most optimistic gamer out there.

I heard these games were EXTREMELY frustrating. All it makes me think of is a few different parts in God of War that I couldn't beat... how pissed I got and then I wouldn't play the game for days, sometimes weeks.

I'm getting pissed just THINKING about it

I beat the Gargoyles tonight. It took me four tries, mostly because I kept falling off the roof, but I did it! My heart was pumping so hard and my hands were soaking wet on the controller. To think that this is still such an early boss...

I started Sigma Harmonics this morning, it's a game that I bought a few years ago but never had chance to play, it's sort of a fusion between a detective game and RPG. The CG looks amazing so far, but the battles start to get repetitive, now that I get more customization, maybe it will get more interesting. I'm liking it so far, plus it gives me a chance to test my Japanese skills and eventually import Ace Attorney Investigations 2.

Dark Souls tonight. Capra Demon kills me in about five seconds. It takes me longer to reach him than for him to kill me. I've got a plan though, so I'm just going to have to survive long enough to put it into action.

This game is fun. I like the exploration, even though many enemies are super frustrating. Don't get me started on these ghost bitches that attack through walls, drop no souls when defeated and who require an item that costs 4000 souls just to block their attacks, which you'll need another of when you die, or it wears off.

You know what's wrong with the Actraiser 2's last level? long ass dungeon with 0 checkpoint plus 6 mini boss plus the final boss, all that in 5 lifes? that's bullshit!

Dungeon Siege 2, not liking it, I want to like this game, but I don't. I'll give it one more try and if I still don't like it, it's going directly into my permaban list, it seems like I don't have as much patience when it comes to PC games for some reason :/

Also playing Death of Degree, it kind of plays like rise of honor where you get to move attack or dodge using the left and right analog stick, the so call revolutionary 360 degrees action control :P, looks like it's going to be another mediocre action game.

You really shouldn't be at New Londo Ruins at this point. It's actually more of an end game area. There's nothing there but a boss that you can't fight right now.

Oh and yeah, Capras...lol...fun....

My tip is to run like hell up the stairs and get on the wooden platform. Kill dogs up there and then you can plunge attack the Capras/repeat a few times.

I defeated Capra Demon eventually, but those dogs were the hardest part. I ran up the steps, but he blocked them, so I jumped off and killed the dogs on the ground while he was stunned from his jump down. After that, I repeated climbing the steps and jumping off, getting him to follow me down and stun himself, where I would attack a few times and repeat.

I've since fought my way through the sewers. I've defeated the dragon enemy down there. Now it is on to Blight Town.

I'm still working my way through BlightTown. This place isn't as bad as I've heard, difficulty wise, but it is a jungle of walkways. I have done just about everything up top I think, and there is a cave I was about to enter that leads down, near that weird red monster that was hanging on the wall, so that is where I'm going next. It is kind of crappy how they make you explore BlightTown from both sides due to that wall being in the way, but there was a lot of good treasure down here, especially for a thief class like myself.

Yeah it's not that hard difficulty-wise, it's just a bit overwhelming for people (like me) who want to explore and find everything......you never get a sense that you've explored fully there...or at least I never did.

Then of course there's the floor-level.....al la valley of defilement. Ugh!

I explored the floor area of BlightTown today. I used up so much Purple Grass to heal poison, but I managed to explore everywhere and find everything (I think) on the bottom without dying. By the time I made it to the hole on that hill (someone's Lair), I was out of flasks and died. Still, now I know that there is an elevator that I can ride up and down for a shortcut though, so that'll be handy! Even if the nearest fire to that point is all the way in the Undead Burg, now that the fire keeper has been killed.
