I started playing Assassin's Creed II tonight. I am hoping to finish this game before Starfox 64 3D is released. So far I've only done a few starter missions and went around collecting the hidden treasures on the map. I like the fact that Ezio can swim, the the controls seem even more fluid than in the AC game.
It is a better game with a lot more variety to it, even if it does hit you in the face with 2 plot holes as soon as the game starts.

So I am getting closer to the end of the game, I think. I'm not going to look at a faq to find out how much I have left to play, but I've already gotten all of the paintings and most of the weapons, so there can't be too much left to play.

I am enjoying this game quite a bit. I've spent a lot of time collecting everything, like all of the hidden treasures and assassination contracts, etc... Ezio has more money than he'd ever need and the Villa is at around 90% complete. I like the new abilities this game has, like the two hidden blades, poisoning, killing from a hiding place, smoke bombs and so on. I always feel like a complete badass when I can kill my target and the person guarding him at the same time, no witnesses style.

... ooops, forgot to specify, I was talking about OG saga: endless frontier for DS
I was too OCD to finish the GBA ones, maybe I should just go back and play it normally and forget the optional objectives.

I was playing a lot of Fallout: New Vegas lately, it's a good game and I only see 1 glitch so far which is very good (my char was stuck inside a pile of rocks, I was able to get myself out by using quick travel, so no big deal there) getting closer to New Vegas I think :) It's also pretty cool that you have more controls over the AI companions. Other than that, it's pretty much Fallout 3. Playing through the game in Hardcore mode and it's not really that bad

I also played a bit of Ninja Blade, it's really not as bad as people claim it to be, I like the game so far, the boss battle with the QTE finishing moves is pretty fun. The boss looks very cool also, fighting a gigantic worm with multiple heads head on = awesome. So far the game manage to remain fresh after 3 missions but I heard it gets a bit repetitive later on though so we'll see

I also played a bit of Bullet Witch (ya, I started a lot of new games lately, hopefully I can finish all of them) the game is "not bad" the control is a bit stiff, maybe it will get better once I get used to the controls, just like Red Ninja, speaking of which, the control is actually not that bad once you get used to it, the game is still very unbalanced though (like you can kill any enemy face on... in a stealth oriented game *cough* Snake *cough*)
the camera is still effing horrible, and the boss are unnecessarily hard :/

I also started another new game on DS... something call Last Window that my friend lent me (suck it Reggie), it is what it is, a sequel of Hotel Dusk, everything from graphics to menu to gameplay looks exactly like its prequel. The story sounds promising so far

Hey, I've been thinking of importing that Last Window game, so I'll be curious to know what you think of it.

I started playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood tonight. The game picks up right where the last game left off, but they've made some changes to the gameplay that I'm not a big fan of yet. For example, in AC2 I was able to do everything in the order that I wanted to. So if I wanted to complete all of the viewpoints before moving on to side missions and then the story missions, I could do just that. Meanwhile, this game makes me feel like I am being drug around by the nose.

Also, this game has brought back the 100% sync thing from the first game that wants you do complete the missions in a certain way. Sometimes it is as simple as killing someone a certain way, but I just finished one mission where in order to get complete sync I would have to complete the mission in under eight minutes. Well, the mission probably took me closer to twenty minutes to finish, so getting that under half that is going to be a challenge, even knowing what to do.

Needless to say, I've got some research to do on Gfaqs tonight to get some questions answered.

It's basically Hotel Dusk with different story and different chars, they reused almost everything from Hotel Dusk, even the music sounds similar (they reused the sound effects, the menu, the control, everything). So if you like Hotel Dusk, you should get Last Window.

Try not to pay too much though, it's not selling for a lot in Europe.

New Vegas made me so upset with the glitches that I never finished. I even started playing the entire game all over again to have the same damn glitch happen to me. It's the little things that kill a game and this New Vegas is full of them, and they're called glitches. It's a shame too because I really enjoyed what I played.

... looks like I can't play more than 30-40 min of Half Life 2 before starting to feel sick, plus I'm not impressed with the game so far (1h in), so I'll probably not finish this game :/

I started playing Gears of War 2 tonight. I needed another quick game to play before Dark Souls and figured that it would fit the bill. Of course, I will not start playing Dark Souls until this coming Friday, when I am on vacation for a week (yes, just to play that game), so I've got some time.

I am playing the game on the Veteran difficulty level and that may have been a mistake. So far, I am having to retry certain sections a few times until I get it right and survive, but it's not too bad. This game does seem a bit easier than the first GoW game though, thank goodness. I still hate how macho this series is, but whatever...
