Where dreams come to come true.

Apparently, Weezer have a new album coming out on October 27. Apparently, this is the new single: http://supjustin.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=331:stream-weezers-new-single Apparently, it rocks. I like that it's not a "typical" Weezer lead single that just kind of hangs out with the rest of the songs on the album. It sounds like it might actually fit in within the album. |

Roots working hard. New album in November. "How I Got Over" is the lead single, and it's tremendous. I love it. Very breezy and funky. Can't wait to hear the album. |

Picked up BEP's The E.N.D off iTunes. Bought it solely off the strength of "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling," so we'll see how that turns out.

I really dig that Keri Hilson song "Knock You Down." I guess it's as good a time as ever to mention it since it blew up, but we played the cd at work for a while and even though Keri has the personality of a grapefruit, "Knock You Down" was a song I really enjoyed. If I had a radio in my car, I'd keep an ear out for it. Also, the new Jay-Z song is pretty good. I should say that means the beat is absolutely tremendous. The song itself doesn't really impress me though. Rihanna's belting is annoying. |

New Brand New album was leaked. I usually don't go for leaks or whatever, but I've waited three years and I'd buy it anyway, so who cares? It's probably a good thing I did get it leaked before it was released, because I'm not terribly impressed. It's really a disappointment from Devil and God. There's like, no catchiness at all. I still can't pick out one song from another after about five run throughs. Disappointed, but maybe it'll be a grower. Also, I might be on the hook for that Kid Cudi CD. I figure it can't be too bad from his average to above average singles I've heard, so I'll give it a shot. |

I'll pick it up on Friday, but I downloaded it when it was leaked. It's all right. It's pretty decent when you're listening to it, but nothing really sticks with you. It's a serious grower, but it's not catchy at all. Just a bit disappointing for what you expect of them. |

Let me know how Cudi is. Aside from "Day and Night" I haven't heard anything from the dude, and that one left me wildly unimpressed. Apparently this dude's pretty nasty, though... |

Production is insanely good. Very 808's, and his rhymes are pretty good, but not like they're the most amazing ever. It's a solid release. I'd recommend it. |

New Twilight movie soundtrack for New Moon is indie as hell. It features Death Cab, Band of Skulls, Thom Yorke, Lykke Li, The Killers, Muse (of course), Bon Iver & St. Vincent, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Sea Wolf, OK Go, Grizzly Bear, and Editors. Pretty weird. Edited by goodlucksaturday, Sep 27 2009, 04:37 PM.
