What being a Juggalo is truely about is just being yourself. Not caring about "normal" people's opinions and not living by what is popular. Violent J said it pretty good at the seminar that came with the Shangri-La dvd from the 2002 Gathering. For those who haven't seen it he says along the lines of this "When you wake up in the morning and jump out the shower and look in the mirror, that's you. That's who you are and you dress up as how you want to be percieved. Goth kids put their goth clothes on. Gangsta kids put their gangsta clothes on. Alternative kids put their alternative clothes on. But there was some that didn't know what they wanted to be." Those individuals were Juggalos.


Back in the day when the word Juggalo was just being used, most Juggalos were the outcasts of society. The scrubs that never got any love from girls. The ones that just felt like they didn't belong anywhere. Now a days there are Juggalos from every race, religion, clicks, gender, etc. There are Christian Juggalos as well as Satanic Juggalos. White Juggalos, Black Juggalos, Asian Juggalos, Hispanic Juggalos, etc. Straight, Bi, Gay Juggalos. Our family holds no limits. I've seen Juggalos that are jocks and I've seen Juggalos that are in the army. Almost where ever I go, I've run into a Juggalo. We are everywhere and we stand proud and rep our hatchet love with the utmost pride.


But I have to admit that our family isn't as perfect as we like to think. I've seen Juggalos fighting. I've seen Juggalos starting gangs and giving Juggalos a bad name. I've seen a Juggalo choke a Juggalette (well I wouldn't consider him one but he was drunk so it might of been a side effect of the alcohol. I'm not the one to label who is and who isn't a Juggalo. I've heard lots of stories of Juggalettes being abused by so called Juggalos. It makes me sick when I hear these stories.. To hear about how a Juggalo could do that someone that is supposed to be considered family. And just for anyone who might be thinking that I only care when Juggalettes are abused, I care about when anyone is getting abused. It's just ed up. Anyway I'm not gonna get to involved with "Juggahoes" and Juggalo gangs because I have other blogs just for those which ya'll can read if you want.
For my final words I want to say that THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RULES to being a Juggalos. It doesn't matter if you never painted your face or how much merchandise you own. You don't have to drink and smoke. You don't have to run around yelling "whoop whoop" and shit. You don't have to give up in school" You don't have to believe in the Joker's Cards as being true beings. You don't have to get rid of all your music and just listen to Psychopathic. For all I care you can be a Juggalo for one second, as long as you are true and got nothing but love for the fam I will have nothing but love for you. Listen to what you want. Do what you want. Dress how you want. Live life how you want. It's your life and you only get one. Be true to yourself and don't let the world get you down. Stay true to your roots and just be yourself.


Oh and if anyone tells you that you have to do (insert rule here) to be a Juggalo, tell them to off and tell them that they should learn what a Juggalo is before they label someone as a Juffalo.
