How I Heard of ICWF: JTF Squareta-blam

Can you write matches for the ICWF? (This really impresses the
higher-ups in the ICWF.)

Character Name: Erica Toughill

Height: 5' 7"

Weight: 160 lbs.

Hails from: Rochester, New York

Alignment (Face, Heel, Tweener): Heel with strong Tweener tendencies.

Gimmick: Erica is a grouchy, bitter, insecure bully, with a hair-trigger
Irish temper. She hates the wrestling business, but hates her fellow
competitors even more and delights in spoiling everyone's good time.
Often hypes herself as "The Most Miserable Bitch Walking The Face Of The
Earth."

ICWF Accomplishments (if none, disregard): n/a

Other Accomplishments (any titles/awards won outside of the ICWF go
here: 2x DCWL Tag Team Champion (w/ Ryan Craig, w/ Lara Leigh Love),
runner-up 2008 Angels and Amazons Rumble Match.

Type of wrestler (All-arounder, high flyer, etc.): Strong-style brawling
with some technical (think 2005-ish Samoa Joe)

Full in and out of ring description (what your character wears, what
they look like, etc.): Erica has a kind of meso-endomorphic physique, so
she always looks just a little chunky, with broader shoulders and
thicker legs. Undefined, but with serious strength behind them. Her face
looks like Jennifer Garner morphed with Gina Carano and a side order of
manic depression. Very fair-skinned and her hair is dyed black and cut
with harsh Bettie Page-style bangs. Outside the ring, she favors the
tomboy style, with baggy jeans and sweats. Her in-ring attire is a black
one-piece women's amateur wrestling singlet with white trim. Both wrists
are heavily bound half-way up the forearm with white athletic tape. She
eschews knee-pads and elbow pads and wears high-top Converse shoes.

Biography: "Erica used to be such a nice girl," is a common statement
about Erica. Toughill (rhymes with "grow hill") was the only girl among
her siblings. With three older brother and one younger, she adopted her
tomboy-ish attitude as a survival mechanism. She was briefly on the fast
track to a professional tennis career, but it was cut short for throwing
a racket at a judge after receiving a call she disagreed with.

Dropping out of college after her third year and refusing to fall into
the family bakery business, Erica began training to pursue her lifelong
passion and current career. She was quickly signed by the DCWL, who
required her to lose twenty pounds before her debut on television. The
effects of the rapid weight loss caused her to lose her debut match. She
returned to her previous body type, but the damage had been done: Erica
Toughill went an unprecedented thirty months without recording a single
victory.

Suffering from depression and panic attacks, Erica was about to quit,
but a chance encounter with the promotion's champion and top star,
Jackson Hunter, led to her being taken on as his protege, and eventually
his lover. And after throwing a pipewrench at the head of one of the
people who had handed her a particularly disrespectful defeat, Erica
Toughill was finally standing up for herself.

From that point on, Erica's behavior became more and more erratic and
sadistic. In spite of her more competitive attitude, the losing streak
continued, only scoring wins as the DCWL began scaling back operations
before eventually closing. Then followed an appearance in Angels And
Amazons as well as Diamond Star Wrestling, but Toughill never really
broke through as a competitor.

At this stage of her career, she has grown to hate her fellow female
wrestlers for their successes and hates the business in general. Why
does she stay in? It's all Erica knows, and it's her only outlet for her
resentment-related anger management issues.

15 Common Moves:
(Half the time these moves are accompanied by a grunt or shriek, like a
female tennis player.)
- No Sell (About once a match, Erica will take a punch, chop, elbow
strike, etc. without even flinching.)
- Step on the hair of a downed opponent and wait for them to get up on
their own power, followed by a boot to the head.
- Knife-edge chop
- Closed Fist Punch to the Jaw
- Backdrop Suplex
- Kick to the ribs of a downed opponent
- Headbutt (alone or in flurries)
- Defensive Biting (to escape sleeper holds, headlocks, dragons
sleepers, etc.)
- Powerbomb
- Cannonball Somersault Senton off the top.
- Hairpull Hangman Neckbreaker
- Fireman's Carry DDT (aka F5)
- Abdominal Stretch (with closed fist flurry to the kidneys)
- Defensive Biting (to escape sleeper holds, headlocks, dragon sleepers,
etc.)
- Flurry of STIFF strikes in the corner; forearm strikes, elbow smashes,
knife-edge chops, punches. Followed by an Irish Whip when used to set up
the Peacemaker.

Signature Move #1 (please include description): Jilldozer. Best
described as a "spearbuster." Erica backs into a corner and crouches
down, waiting for the opponent to get to her feet. Then she charges in
like a spear, but lifts the opponent up and drives into her with a
modified spinebuster.

Signature Move #2 (please include description): Shrew's Fiddle.
Submission finisher. aka Rolling Olympic Hell 0. Erica stands
face-to-face with her opponent, placing one arm under the opponent's arm
and another over the opposite shoulder, locking her hands. She leverages
her opponent over to the mat and sits up, trapping the neck and arm of
the opponent. Technically a choke, but allowed under the Tazzmission
precedent. Demonstrated in detail in the first minute or so of this
video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dG2jjzotDFY

Finisher (please include description): Peacemaker. A discus lariat.
Erica pivots 360 degrees on one foot and drops onto the opponent with a
clothesline. Usually follows the strike flurry in the moveset, but the
beauty of it is that it can come out of nowhere as well.

Entrance Music: "Cancer" by Meat Beat Manifesto

Describe your entrance (including lighting, pyrotechnics and what you
would like to see displayed on the IntenseTron - please make sure this
is as detailed as possible because this will be cut and pasted and used
as your entrance for your matches):

[Subtly, drum loop sounds over the PA. It builds in volume for a few
seconds before the slow bassline kicks in, and the arena lighting
changes to a sickly shade of green. Enter...]

"This... is cancer"

[...Erica Toughill. She knocks the knuckles of her fists together and
makes her way to the ring with an icy scowl on her plain face. She whips
back the hood of her knee length robe with the words "póg mo thóin"
embroidered on the back.]

"This... is cancer"
"A warning sign"

Slick Mick: Making her way to the ring, from Rochester, New York,
weighing in at an even 160 pounds...

E R I C A...

T O U G H I L L ! ! !

#I only wanted to touch you#
#I thought you wanted to be here#
#And I don't know your name#
#But I could meet you on Thursday#
#Or Friday#

[Toughill rolls into the ring, tears the robe away and quickly backing
into the nearest corner, crouching like a coiled snake.]

"Nobody, of course, was listening"
"This... is cancer"
"A warning sign"
