I'm sure the hardcore fans out there are complaining saying that Beth didn't do a good enough job with the emersion of Skyrim and that they're disappointed. In the end, that's the job of the hardcore fan. Complain a tun so as to push the developers to do even better next time so the rest of us can freak out about how even more awesome the game is. Anyways, I for one think they did an amazing job with the emersion part of the game. So much so, that I believe that Skyrim gives you the opportunity to have some pretty close to life-like experiences in the game. So this is a thread to post all your stories about that one time that you and your wife got into a fight or that one time that you started chopping wood at Morthal and just kept working for a straight hour until another damn dragon decided to attack the town in order to remind you that you were playing a game. So here's my story. Me and my wife Mjoll the Lioness have several real life stories together, but I think this one's the best: In a strategic move I decided to mary Mjoll and move her to Whiterun so I could get her out of the way in Riften so she would stop bothering my Thieve's Guild. So I went to Sky Haven to grab my boy Erandur for my best man because we had been Dunmer bros for a while and I just didn't feel right getting married without him... and then I remembered I was playing a game... but I still got him because it still didn't feel right with out him there. #lifehappens An hour before the wedding, Erandur and I went into the tavern and took down 20 Nord Meads, got to the wedding, and totally held my own during the vows even though I was waisted. So after the wedding Erandur and I go out into the wilds of Skyrim and raise hell for my honeymoon. After a few days, I returned to Whiterun to claim my rights as a husband, but when I walked through the door who do I see? Fucking Airen... Naturally, I'm a bit suspicious, but after all Airen did save Mjoll's life, so I let it slide. I leave for the day to hang out with my boy Farkas and the other Companions while I'm in town and get back to the home at around midnight. When I get in, Airen is no where to be seen, so I get all happy thinking it's about to go down, until I climb up the stairs into my room and what do I see? Mjoll sound asleep with that creepy ass Airen standing at the foot of the bed just starring at her. What is this guy's problem?!?! I bet he didn't even save Mjoll! I bet he found her body and assumed she was dead and started doing some messed up things to her until she recovered and to cover his creepy ass up he told her that he had saved her! No. Not on my watch. I told Erandur that it was time to part ways because I didn't want to have to witness what I was about to do. The next morning I told Mjoll to follow me. Airen sensed something was up, so he took off (smart move). Once he was out of the house, I told Mjoll to wait for me there and took off to Riften. Somehow I beat that creepy fuck to Riften so I picked the lock to his house and hid in his basement until he got home. At around midnight, I left the basement and went up to his room where he was sound asleep. With a smile, I whipped out Mherune's Razor and slit his throat where he lay. Sucks to suck Airen. Never mess with another man's wife especially when he's the Dragonborn! #lifehappens |
