Fuck. Well that's disappointing. :(

It still makes no logical sense, unless it's something akin to the spell combinations in Fable III.

Since when does anything Bethesda does make logical sense?

There's a difference between an illogical story an an illogical gameplay mechanic. The former is just confusing. The latter is physically impossible. I'd be like adding a feature to allow you to wear five suits of armor at the same time. It just doesn't work.

Obviously it is possible, or they wouldn't have done it.

Seriously? You find this confusing? In oblivion, when you hit right trigger, your sword would swing and when you hit left trigger your shield would block. Is it difficult to imagine that if you hit right trigger it activates one spell and if you hit left trigger it activates another?

Are you implying that I lied about staying at home and doing nothing on New Year's? Do you think that I'm secretly a massive party animal and just trying to hide my awesome life from you all to avoid you becoming jealous?

That's not dual wielding spells. That's having two cast keys for different spells. It's also not something new or innovative.

You have one spell readied in each hand. That's called "dual wielding."

That's what I assumed they meant, unless they literally, as Vanir put it, had one spell for hand in which the same mechanics apply. However, that's a bit strange, wouldn't you say? I'm attributing this to poor wording.

Which, as I said, is either going to result in a mechanic akin to Fable III or be two cast keys.

...In which case your original point makes no sense.

The point is that they're doing it, how they do it is more or less irrelevant.

No it doesn't. Neither of the options I presented are "dual wielding." That's a concept that still makes no sense.

Like I said, I blame this one on poor choice of words.

How does "a spell in each hand" not make sense? It's no different than holding two daggers, except that they're in your mind.

It doesn't make sense because technically, you're wielding all of your spells at once. They are all in your head. They aren't like daggers that you can equip and unequip, they're always with you. Duel wielding is just not what they should of called what they are actually doing which is most likely just having two hot keys for spells instead of one.

In terms of game mechanics, though, that's exactly what it is.

I hope you can use your legs in hand-to-hand fighting, like a ninja.

EDIT: I just realized Hand-to-hand fighting

Um, you do realize that kicks aren't an exclusively ninja thing, right? In fact, the martial arts styles that focus on kicking tend to be more Korean, like Taekwondo.

I said 'like a ninja' it doesn't mean I meant that only ninjas kicked and how can you possibly think that when I didn't even say it. Im not stupid.
I do practice muay thai (thai boxing) which alot of kicking is used.

Subtext, Bulldog, subtext. You may not have said it outright, but the way you worded the sentence strongly implied it.

No it didn't. I feel like you're being an ass for the sake of being an ass and your track record strongly supports this claim.

And you're just accusing me of being an ass for the sake of accusing me of being an ass, and your track record of fallacies supports this claim. What's your point? You know, if we're going to base our arguments entirely on past tendencies, then I could just point to the fact that I have historically been one to frequently point out misuses in grammar, and both you and Bulldog have frequently made many, many grammatical mistakes. Therefore, when it comes to an issue of grammar, who do you think would more likely be correct?
